Description of 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham |
Highlights: 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham Our Quick Condition Guide -(Condition Rating Scale: #1 Perfect, #2 Near Perfect driver, #3 Excellent driver, #4 Nice driver, #5 Needs Work, #6 Parts. Each section is rated based on the type of vehicle it represents being part of.) Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *2- (Near Perfect Driver) Here is an absolutely drop dead gorgeous 1966 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham in amazing condition inside and out. We just acquired this vehicle from the previous owner's estate who recently passed away and the wife sold us the car. This was the gentleman's jewel and it is basically an amazing survivor with only one repaint and looks absolutely stunning. This is a factory triple black car which is extremely rare and highly sought after. It is completely 100% rust-free from top to bottom, straight as an arrow, has beautiful fit and finish and looks that just don't quit. It did have one repaint about 10-15 years ago but it looks absolutely gorgeous and the paint is beautiful with a hand rubbed smooth as glass finish. It has stunning what appears to be original chrome and trim, original glass in excellent condition and original vinyl top which looks brand new. It only has 63k actual original miles and it shows as it is a truly stunning piece of work. It has a completely all original interior that looks like the day it came off the showroom floor. It has the factory tray tables and footrests in the rear just like a limo would have. This was the ultimate in luxury in 1966 and the gentleman even added a set of factory Cadillac Sabre polished aluminum wheels with white wall tires which really sets this car off. The widow also just recently took this to a local Cadillac mechanic and had the whole car completely serviced, where she spent more than $2,500 having everything checked out including the ice cold factory air conditioning which works perfect. This car runs and drives amazing and and is a real stunner to look at. You will not find a nicer one than this and in all the years we have been doing this we have only seen a couple that could even start to compare and they went for way more than we are asking for this beauty so you are getting a true bargain. Options/Equipment: 429ci V8 Engine Exterior: *Condition #2- The exterior of this Cadillac looks absolutely stunning, is a factory triple black car and has only had one repaint its entire life with original paint in the jams. The paint job was done about 10-15 years ago but still looks absolutely gorgeous and was all hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish. The fit and finish on the car is excellent, the body is straight as an arrow with not one wave or ding in the body. You'll be hard pressed to find a straighter 1966 Cadillac. All of the chrome and trim appear to be original and is in excellent and beautiful condition. All the emblems, lenses and glass is crystal clear and sparkling and again truly amazing condition. This car even has two of its original T3 headlights. It is sitting on an upgraded set of Cadillac Sabre polished aluminum wheels wrapped with BFGoodrich Silvertown wide white wall bias-ply tires. The vinyl top is original and looks like the day it came off of the showroom floor and is absolutely beautiful. Overall the car has looks that just do not quit and is a real stunner. Interior: *Condition #2+ The interior of this Cadillac is absolutely all original and basically showroom new condition. It is finished in beautiful black leather with black Dartmoor cloth and it shows that this car was always garage kept as it very nice and soft and pliable with basically no wear at all. The dash and gauge cluster look mint and the steering wheel is near perfect except for a couple tiny hairlines. The woodgrain is excellent as well as all the runner weatherstripping and moldings. The chrome and brightwork looks gorgeous with zero pitting. The original vin warranty tag is even still on the car. In the back seat it is like sitting in a limousine with factory seat back trays that look brand new with working lights and the factory footrests. It also has set of custom Cadillac floor mats that really set it off. Everything works in the car including all the gauges, wipers, power windows, power locks, power seat, courtesy lights, cruise control, AM/FM radio, light control and even the clock. It even has its original owners tag on the factory ashtray. Inside of the trunk is absolutely beautiful and almost all original. The only thing that has been replaced is the bottom trunk material due to some stains. But it still has its original spare, jack and jack instructions. Overall the interior of this beauty is really amazing and you will not find another one like it. Mechanically: *Condition #2- Mechanically this Cadillac runs and drives absolutely amazing. It has its original 429ci V8 engine and automatic transmission that run snd shift perfect. It truly purrs like a kitten and only has 63k original miles on it which has been meticulously maintained its whole life. Under the hood is amazing as well and is in original condition and all stock, untouched and beautiful besides a new hood pad. This car was just recently fully serviced by a Cadillac mechanic where the widow spent over $2,500 recharging the air conditioning, and a complete tune-up. Anything that was needed was done including a new battery with a battery cut-off switch. It runs, drives and shifts excellent, doesn't appear to leak a drop and needs absolutely nothing to be driven and enjoyed. Under Carriage: *Condition #2- The underside of this Cadillac looks nice and clean, solid and totally rust-free. You are not going to find a cleaner original underside on one of these Cadillacs anywhere in the world. Overall it is exactly what you would expect from a car always stored in a dry climate and meticulously maintained. Do NOT hesitate with this one as it will not last long at all.
