Up for your viewing, bidding, and purchasing pleasure is a beautiful Triple White 1976 Cadillac Coupe DeVille with 59k original miles and factory original special order red piping on the white leather interior. This car is in great shape for the age-- perhaps a 7 or 8 out of 10. The body is very clean-- the Cotillion White original paint may have some areas that have been repainted but its acceptable and barely noticeable. Any paintwork was done quite well. This Caddy is not a trailer queen, but is a very acceptable collector's piece for someone looking for a parcel of General Motors history to be proud of owning. The chrome on the front and rear bumpers is in VERY good condition. Rubber on the front and rear bumpers is fair--its in good shape, just has some fading/discoloring. This Cadillac is in very exceptional overall shape for a 44-year-old car. I believe the factory painted pinstriping is still on the car. Hubcaps are in great shape and the tires are like new--4 newer matching Jetzon tires. The spark plugs and plug wires are factory original on this 500 cu. in. V8 engine. There are no cracks on the dash of the car. The brake pedal and accelerator pedal are in great shape. There's no rust anywhere on the body of the car--I see no visible rust on the door bottoms of either door/trunk/hood of the car. The front seats are all original and in exceptional shape for the year, but do show normal minimal wear typical of older Cadillac leather. The back seat of the car is all original and in very nice shape, with very minimal cracking-- even less than the front seat. The backseat really doesn't appear to have ever been sat in. Any slight imperfections are likely due to age of the leather. The A/C compressor kicks on; it doesn't appear to blow cold, but the blower fan does work and the A/C system has been converted over to 134a already. The steering wheel is impeccable--it doesn't have a mark or crack on it. Most steering wheels on Caddies of this vintage are usually worn. This one shows NO signs of wear. The imitation woodgrain on the steering wheel is in impeccable shape, whereas most crack. The door panels and the arm rests are in excellent condition. The vinyl carriage top is very good shape. The radio works, but the antenna is not currently going up or down; its in the down position. The front bumper has a slight dent in the passenger side. The previous owner installed a brand new battery in December 2019 and a new alternator was also recently installed. This Cadillac runs and drives great; it was a pleasure to get behind the wheel of it to take it down the road for photos in this listing. The power seats and windows all function as they should. The heat, brakes, lights and door handles all work as they should. The speedometer and odometer also function properly. The plastic body fillers are all in good shape with no cracks or fading. There are no visible leaks under the car. The car appears to have been garage-kept. We have always kept it garaged since we've owned it. The headliner and carpets are in great shape. The carpet, dash plastic, and woodgrain trim are very rich in color, and the headliner appears untouched by anything except time-- there is no sagging; its nice and tight as it should be. A plethora of history for this Caddy can be found in the glovebox. Original owner's manual, warranty info, Maintenance Schedule, Consumer Information booklet, catalytic converter info and some service records are sold with the vehicle. There is also a copy of the original owner's title from when the car was put into his trust is in the glovebox. This beautiful Caddy is being sold AS-IS due to age, but will be sold NYS inspected to NY residents. Please ask any questions before bidding. You're also welcome to make an appointment to come look at the car in person and test drive it. Facetime walk-around of the vehicle is available upon request for bidders with iPhones.
