Description of 1949 Cadillac Series 60 Special Fleetwood |
| Cadillac 60 Special Fleetwood - Original - I do not have the complete history on this vehicle prior to approx. 20 years ago. Nothing cosmetic has been done since we have had it. Appears to have been painted prior and the carpet and door panels have been redone. I installed a new master cylinder and rebuilt the wheel cylinders. I also replaced the hydraulic cylinders for the windows and front seat (the 60 Special came with Hydro-lectric windows and seat). Runs well but will improve with some fine tuning and drive time. No rust (originally a California car) except surface rust on the bottoms of the doors due to leaking brake fluid for the windows, no rust through anywhere. Undercarriage as clean as the rest of the car. Beautiful car ready to enjoy as is or a great restoration project. |
