Highlights: 1953 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60 Special Our Quick Condition Guide -(Condition Rating Scale: #1 Perfect, #2 Near Perfect driver, #3 Excellent driver, #4 Nice driver, #5 Needs Work, #6 Parts. Each section is rated based on the type of vehicle it represents being part of.) Overview Of Entire Vehicle: *Condition #2 (Gorgeous Fully Restored Fleetwood) Here is an absolutely drop dead gorgeous 1953 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60 Special that has undergone a complete restoration from front to back. This was the top of the line Cadillac back in 1953 and is truly an amazing piece of art. It is absolutely one of the finest 1953 Cadillac's you will ever see and there was a no expense spared on this total restoration. In total dollars this restoration would be way into the 6 figures to complete. This restoration was done about 5 years ago but looks like it was just done yesterday it is so nice. This Cadillac shows 26k miles but we do not know if those are actual or not but are believed to be. It has an absolutely drop dead gorgeous paint job in its factory color of Forest Green Metallic with a rare two-tone Light & Dark Tan cloth interior. Everything including all the chrome and trim has been completely redone, the body is straight as an arrow and it is totally 100% rust-free. All the glass, rubbers, weatherstripping is in top notch condition and the interior looks like a piece of jewelry, it is so gorgeous, redone in all its correct OEM materials and colors. It is definitely one of the finest Fleetwood interiors that we have ever seen and probably in the world. This car is on consignment with us and just recently came out of a huge private collection of over 200 cars where the owner is cutting down on a few of his vehicles. He spent over 6k on putting air conditioning alone in the rear of the car which is factory correct with a new upgraded compressor. It runs and drives absolutely amazing and is one fo the nicest driving 50's Cadillacs we have ever had and that is the honest truth. The car speaks for itself and we doubt you'll ever see another one with this combination. It is an incredible car and will satisfy even the pickiest of buyers. Options/Equipment: 331ci 4bbl V8 Engine Exterior: *Condition #2 The exterior of this Cadillac looks absolutely stunning, finished in Forest Green Metallic, with a super straight body and excellent fit and finish throughout. Every piece of trim and chrome was taken off the car when it was refinished and it looks spectacular. It was finished using a basecoat/clearcoat process, hand rubbed to a smooth as glass finish, and truly is show quality. All the emblems, plastics, chrome and trim was completely redone on this beauty sparing no expense. All the glass is crystal clear and beautiful, all of the rubbers and weatherstripping are in perfect condition. The only flaws on the car are a couple minor dings on the trim behind the right rear door and one chip that has been touched up on the drivers door right behind the hood but is barely noticeable. It is sitting on its gorgeous and correct Cadillac sombrero hubcaps wrapped in wide white wall Firestone tires. All the gold emblems look shiny and amazing, the plastic crests are beautiful and all the original glass is crystal clear with beautiful chrome trim. Overall the exterior is amazing and really is a show piece and it has been very well cared for and stored since it was completed. Interior: *Condition #2+ The interior in this Cadillac is incredible and has been completely restored and redone. It was ordered in a rare two-tone Light & Dark Tan cloth and it is stunning. All the materials used are correct high dollar materials including the Cadillac logos from the factory and even the super clean carpet. Everything was completely taken apart including the dash and door panels and redone to absolutely show quality condition. Please check out the pictures and video to get a better idea how stunning this interior truly is. The chrome, the inserts, the headliner all look amazing and have been complete refinished or replaced. It truly looks like getting into a car that was just built in 1953, maybe even better. Everything works in the car including the horn, directionals, gauges, heater/defroster, air conditioning, wipers, power windows, power antenna and power seat except for the clock. Inside the trunk has all been redone as well and looks gorgeous. The original jack, spare and jack instructions are all there and the weatherstripping has all been replaced. Overall the interior on this Cadillac is amazing and there are absolutely zero negatives to speak of. Mechanically: *Condition #2 Mechanically this Cadillac is in stellar condition and runs like a top. It is powered by its original 331ci 4bbl V8 engine and automatic transmission. It purrs like a kitten and truly runs and drives amazing. Under the hood looks like a showpiece as well, is correct and very clean, and will satisfy all. The suspension is nice and tight, the air conditioning works perfectly and blows ice cold and the new exhaust sounds great. The brakes stop excellent and straight and the car drives straight as well. This car needs absolutely nothing mechanically and is ready to drive and enjoy immediately. Under Carriage: *Condition #3+ The underside of this Cadillac is very clean and looks great. It is solid as a rock with zero rust to speak of. The bushings are nice and clean and it sports a new exhaust system. The car is 100% rust-free and you can see just how much money was put into the restoration just by looking at the underside. Overall it is just what you would expect to see from a low mileage car that has been fully restored.
