For your consideration is a beautiful showroom condition 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado convertible with only 6848 original documented miles. The color combination of this incredible automobile is one of the very best and really accents the beauty of the last of the era of the full size Cadillac Eldorado convertibles. What really makes this a special Cadillac is its originality being an original automobile and not a restoration. A very well maintained automobile with never any expense spared to keep this Cadillac always at a very high standard.
Now for the particulars of a very well preserved automobile
This 1976 Cadillac Fleetwood Eldorado convertible wears the original Firethorn paint with the exception of the front vertical fillars. The original paint is extremely nice and the body is very straight with no dents or dings and no rust. The paint has a beautiful finish with a very brillant deep shine and looks incredible. The vertical front fillars are a perfect match to the original paint. Showroom condition is the best way to describe the appearance of this beautiful Cadillac.
The Firethorn leather interior is beautiful and perfect in every way and looks brand new with absolutely no signs of wear, no cracks and no discoloration of any kind. The interior every where you look is pristine and looks like no one ever sat inside this Cadillac. The dual split 50/50 front seats with arm rests both having 6 way power really make for a very comfortable interior. The interior reflects this Cadllac has always been kept inside and also is a non smoker automobile.
The convertible top was replaced 4 years ago and has been used very little since. The new top was matched to original and was professionally replaced and works perfectly with no issues and no leaks. The factory boot is in like new condition as is the new convertible top.
All chrome, chrome and stainless moldings, trim and wheel covers all in excellent condition.
The trunk is like new, very clean with original jack never used. Spare tire is a full size tire.
All weatherstripping is very soft and in excellent condition.
The undercarriage was undercoated when new and was a very nice job and still shows very nice and clean as this Cadillac was never out in inclement weather.
All options and all accessories work perfectly as you would expect in a very well maintained automobile. Even the power antenna and the automatic trunk closer both work perfectly.
The drive train consists of the 500 cubic inch engine with carburetor complimented with the three speed turbo hydramatic automatic transmission and both perform flawlessly with no strange noises or leaks of any kind.
As far as mechanicals all maintenance was always done on a regular basis with never any expense spared, which has kept this Cadillac in exceptional mechanical condition. The way this Cadillac runs and drives strongly dictates how this Eldorado was pampered. Recent servicing included a new delco battery and lube oil and filter.
