Vehicle Details Up for auction is a 1951 Cadillac series 75 limousine body style 51-7523x. (Actual milage unknown)Based on the info I found online there were around 1000 of these made in 1951. This car was owned by a neighbor of mine in alameda ca. He used it in his classic limousine business up until the mid 80’s. Supposedly it ran when parked. I tried to get it running but ran out of time. The 331 v8 turns over but has no spark. It probably needs a condenser or something. The car also has a 6 to 12 volt conversion that uses an electric motor to drop the voltage down to 6volts. I’ve never seen anything like it before. The floors have some rust scale on them (pictured)but they are solid. And the back doors have some rust holes on the top of the window frames but that could be cut out and patched . The rust in the trunk is surface rust as well. This car is a pretty solid candidate for a restoration or use it for parts. Buyer is responsible for pickup. The car comes with the keys but the pink slip is long gone. I looked up the car on the ca dmv website and it’s no longer in the system. I will provide all of the proper ca dmv forms needed to transfer ownership with a missing title. Please feel free to message me with any questions or picture requests. Thanks for looking!
