Description of 1993 Cadillac DeVille |
Vehicle Details Fabulous V8 engine. See the pictures. This was originally a Burgundy and Cream exterior and burgundy interior. It does need a wash and new paint. The seats have the original leather and it is starting to wear in some areas on the front drivers seat. All other seats are in good condition otherwise. The driver side arm rest has some duct tape over where the vinyl is cracked and broken. The interior roof is gone and the metal top is exposed. The engine runs great. I personally maintained it. The spark plugs, cables, antifreeze, shocks, struts, oil filter, oil, air filter, water pump, tires, and battery have all been replaced over the course of ownership and need. Currently it leaks just a little bit of oil once in a while. It doesn’t have any leaks other than a drip from the oil. Oil was changed and have another 1,500 - 2,000 miles. It runs great. The heater works, and the AC needs repair. There are electrical issues but these do not prevent it from running or driving. The lights work, recently replaced a dead bulb. It has AirRide hydraulics in rear and I currently have it detached as the pump motor has a short and will drain the battery otherwise. As it goes from park into first gear there is a slight crunch as it gets moving. After that initial transition it is great in traffic and has no issues with its transmission. As I maintained it I had to get a leak from a tube fixed for a transmission fluid leak. It hasn’t leaked transmission fluid since that repair. The tires are in very good condition. I hate to sell it and really want to fix it up but I don’t have room or time anymore. It would be a fixer-upper. Not too many issues beyond paint and love for the interior. Takes Premium gas. I usually have added octane boost just in case I wanted the extra vroom while driving. |
