For sale is a 1967 Cadillac Coupe DeVille convertible. It comes with a 429 V8 and a 3 speed TH400 automatic transmission. It has 61,350 miles on the odometer, and I was told by the second owner that the miles are original (they claimed to have bought it off a “little old lady who only drove it to church”). Based on the condition of the car, and what my mechanic has said, it appears that the miles are original, I doubt it has 161K miles on it.It had been sitting for 3 years, I bought it from an estate not running, and took it to my mechanic who went through the entire car and got it running well. He went through the fuel system, put in new plugs, cap, rotor, filters, seals, battery, brakes, hoses, belts and much more. He also had to rebuild the transmission at a cost of $3k. So right now there’s no leaks, it runs strong, and has a newly rebuilt tranny that shifts great. Most of the electrical works, except for the radio. The convertible top is new. The top motor works but isn’t connected to the top’s frame, so I have to lower/raise it by hand. I don’t have the original wheels, but I do have the original hub caps (5 actually). The 20 inch Boss Motorsports alloy wheels (which allow room for a disc brake conversion) come with new tires. The only rust I could find are the two small spots in the photos, just in front of the rear wheels on both sides of the car. There's also a few scratches, and s few shallow dents which can be seen in the photos. The rest of the car is solid, complete, and all original except the wheels. The interior is all there, but could use a re-fresh. The seat foam is drying out and crumbling away, the vinyl on the seat corners is cracked, the carpets faded, and the dash is cracked. This car will make a great project with solid bones, but it can also be driven as-is and be a lot of fun. It certainly is a head turner. I have more photos, and can take specific ones if requested. It's also advertised locally (Albuquerque). Clean title in my name, currently registered.
