Description of 1986 Cadillac DeVille BASE |
Vehicle Details We're moving, and our beloved Cadillac, affectionately named Daisy, needs a new home due to space constraints in our new location. Daisy comes with a treasure trove of spare/new parts worth thousands of dollars, including load-leveling suspension pumps, vacuum pumps, various body panels, and electrical components. Additionally, new parts like window motors and door jamb switches are included. We even have the correct foam, vinyl, and clips to restore her vinyl top, along with marine-grade blue vinyl to reupholster her steering wheel. Daisy's previous owner, who cherished her for 14 years, was a skilled mechanic, and it shows in her mechanicals. Originally hailing from Florida, she was purchased new at Schooley Cadillac in West Palm Beach and brought to Puerto Rico in 1989. Sporting an engine and transmission from a 1988 Sedan Deville, her engine underwent a rebuild just 5,000 miles ago before being installed in the car. For those unfamiliar, the 4.5L engine is a highly dependable upgrade from the HT4100. Daisy runs and drives splendidly, exuding a quiet elegance and remaining entirely leak-free. Notably, she boasts velour upholstery, an understood rarity compared to the typical leather interiors. The American Walnut veneer gracing her interior is indeed genuine wood. Her air conditioner has been converted to R134A, ensuring modern cooling efficiency. Recent repairs have been performed, and her tires are in good condition. We are including a comprehensive service history with receipts, a factory service manual, and a sales brochure. Cosmetically, she requires a bit of TLC. Her paint has seen better days, and her vinyl top is in poor shape. There's minor rust at the base of her A-pillar, and the window seals should be replaced. Despite these issues, she remains sturdy and possesses plenty of life. You can choose to drive her as she is or continue our restoration project. Uncut gold keys, a car cover, and a trickle charger are also part of the package. If interested, feel free to reach out with any questions or to arrange a viewing. |
