Description of 1964 Cadillac DeVille |
1964 Cadillac Coupe Deville I have a mostly original 1964 Caddy - 2 Door Hardtop - Runs and Drives - Adjustable Air Ride : Tank and 2 compressors - Coker White Walls with less than 100 miles on them ($1000). Original 429 Motor - with original cadillac value covers - Rebuilt Carb - Electronic Ignition - The car runs and drives well - I just took it on a 60 mile trip on the highway yesterday at about 65MPH - has an exhaust leak at the manifold on the passenger side of the motor - needs a new gasket - motor could use a tune up and carb adjustment - The interior is nice - the front seats have a few tears but it's original - the back seats are really nice. The headliner is intact and in good shape with a few small blemishes. The door panels are okay - a previous owner but a stereo in the car and mounted speakers and stuff to them. The carpet is cut out style and it's okay. All of the lights. turn signals and brake lights work. The speedo. gas and temp gauge work as well. The interior dash lights do not work. The power windows also do not work but the regulators tested fine and it appears it's just missing a hot wire to the board on the drivers side. Power seat works. The body is in really good shape for an unrestored 64 - It's all there minus the original grill. The car was painted recently in a satin red with a white time - It really looks good. The front bumper was painted and has rust on the bottom. The rust issues on the car are mostly the bottom - Needs some floor and minor truck pan work. The front passenger fender has some rust at the base and could use a little alignment around the headlight and turn signal housing. The rear frame rail has through rust behind the rear axle. I've been told by a number of metal fab guys that it could be easily boxed out. This car does have some repairable rust issues and is not a rust bucket. I've priced it accordingly for a running driving Cadillac in it's condition. Please no disrespect but don't expect a rust free car - It would make a great weekend cruiser as is or you could take the car to the next level. The car is located in Atlanta. GA - Buyer is responsible for shipping or pick up the car. I have a shipping company I work with that has very competitive shipping rates - I can easily help the shipping process along if you are interested in that route. Please pay if you bid. Thanks - I have tons of photos of the car let me know what you want to see |
