Description of 1964 Cadillac DeVille

Up for auction is our "64 Frankencaddy" purchased couple years a go with the intent of driving the wheels off. Time. priorities and too many "irons in the fire" forces sale. The previous owner installed a 6. 2 mid 80's diesel motor mated to a 4 speed tranny. roughly 35k miles on it so I was told. it has a glow plug switch to help start. Really runs good. has a little smoke when first start up but quickly clears up. 9" rear end. Brakes have been reworked with newer front ball joints. rides like a caddy:). I purchased new wheels and tires for it. they rub a little when turning sharp. Could use an air ride set up. sits low. I removed the hurst shifter and installed a shot gun shifter to compliment the craziness of this ride. Gets hundreds of looks wherever it goes. Body is very straight with very slight cosmetic imperfections. Flat black with a heavy metallic roof. Door handles had been shaved with a hand held key fob. Interior is pretty nice has a few imperfections also. headliner is good. This is not a show quality ride. I wanted something that you wouldn't be scared to drive. Have previous owners title in hand. never transferred to me. Thanks!
