1951 Cadillac 61 Series 4 door sedan

This is a Beautiful 14000 original mile UNRESTORED Cadillac. Shiny original black paint excellent chrome & stainless near mint original gray wool interior. Originally purchased as a personal achievement objective by an Italian immigrant who became successful after decades working in the coal business the Cadillac was willed to his favorite grandson here in Georgia who treasured it for ten years before selling it to a local Cadillac LaSalle club member who has lovingly cared for it for the last 15 years. It has always been garaged and only driven on special family occasions. This is the short wheelbase sedan body built by Cadillac in 1951 and it is a strong performer. A 61 Series Cadillac 2 dr hardtop was entered by Briggs Cunningham in the 24 hours of LeMans in 1951 and finished well. This Cadillac is equipped with the recently developed 331 cu in overhead valve V8 with Hydramatic transmission. It is a pleasure to drive it is tight solid rust-free comfortable and would be the pride of any owner. It has wide whitewall tires and a new unused matching spare. The engine compartment also is untouched but very clean and still features the original assembly line inspectors stamp marks. The trunk has the original trunk lining jack hardware and a rare rear window defroster.
