To those in the know, t means bruit horsepower and the first year it was offered in a Corvette was 1966. When the Mark IV big block was introduced to the buying public in '65, t displaced 396ci and was putting out 425 solid lifter hp. But, hen Chevrolet upped the ante a bit the next year with the 427, ll bets were off! That year two versions of the big block were offered (semi) mild and completely wild! The wild version put out the same 425hp as the 396 did the previous year, ut the torque was increased from 415 to a stump pulling 460 lbs./ft.! Thus, legend was born . . . There are certain cars we get in that you just have to stop and absorb. This stunning '66 Coupe is one of those cars. From its Rally Red exterior w/matching Red interior, o the distinct lopey rumble that only a big block with side exhaust can make to its Knock off wheels. It just grabs you and beckons you to get behind its beautiful Teak steering wheel and take a blast down the highway! The car is cool enough just with those options, ut add to the mix power steering, ower windows and power brakes and you've really got something unique. But, e're not done. How about we add in the rare (1 of only 382) J56 Heavy Duty Brake option and the fact that it's been completely frame off restored and you've got one very special Corvette.
