Description of 1953 Chevrolet Other Pickups 3100

Older Restoration 216 engine with three speed on the column. Needs new paint and small amount of body work. Motor and Transmission has been rebuilt by a reputable rebuild company. Rebuilt rear end with highway gears installed. Tires, ngine and drive train have 19600 miles on them since being rebuilt.Oak bed with stainless trim was installed 1 year ago although has been sitting outside and showing weathered still in good shape the underside of bed still has a good shine from being stained and varnished. Electric fan with radiator overflow has been added.Truck gets driven to local car shows once a week round trip 50 miles.Electric windshield wipers and aftermarket blinker controls were added as well as light bar with working reverse light and brake under tailgate. Spare tire is under bed with aftermarket hand crank lift. Interior is in descent shape. Truck runs and drives Brakes are in good shape.This has been kept original except the paint job and a few improvements.We have no room for it that is why it sits outside subject to weather.we are selling because we no longer drive on a regular basis at one time it was a daily driver but with grand kids we could not use this vehicle to transport children. The miles on the odometer as stated these are new gauges that were installed at the same time the rebuilt engine transmission and tires were put in.When I purchased this vehicle it did not come with odometer or gauges so the mileage is listed as when the rebuils and gauges were installed.The truck has some rust through areas in the grill front drivers fender and the cowl it would not take long or much to fix.It has after market sliding windows and new glass all around including new windshield and gaskets. We have invested over $1800.00 but it is time to let it go.
