In 94 the LT1 switched to aMass Airflow Sensorand Sequential Port Injection. A new, ore capable computer controlled the transmission as well as the engine and got a new name: powertrain control module (PCM). Where the 1993 and olderC4's had anECM which held its calibration information in a replaceable chip, he '94 and up PCM was reprogrammable through the diagnostic port.

To my fellow C4 devotee's. The 1994 thru 1996 models are the best and obviously the most well thought out examples of thethirteen year C4 model run. Plus easier to get in and out of with the newer style seats they shared '94-'96 also.

In my opinion, ext to the great looking 1965-72 models, hese later LT1's run as strong as95% of the big blocks available in that era.
But these lateC4's are so much more affordable at the current time, hen the more and mechanically more established 1999 and newer C5 models, ndthese C4 Corvetteswill aregetting the value recognition they deserve as time goes on, nd the newer C7 pricinggoes up. So they are a great way to drive your money, o to speak.
