Description of 1965 Chevrolet El Camino

Up for sale is a great driver 1965 El Camino. This car originally had a 327, ut has been upgraded to a 454 big block. Transmission is 3 speed Turbo Hydramatic and a 12 bolt rear end. The truck has power steering, nd original drum brakes. The radiator has been upgraded as well to keep up with the engine. Tires are like new, ith about 3k miles on them. All of the gauges work, xcept for the water temp, o there is an aftermarket gauge below the dash.
I have owned this car for 4 years, uying it from Streetside Classics in 2011. I haven't done much to it in that time, ut I have added 3 point seat belts, loor mats, Custom AutoSound stereo, 454" badges, ocker panel molding, ir Lift rear spring kit, ew battery, ew tires. The car also comes with a rubber mat for the bed not shown in the pictures.
This car is ready to drive as is, r there are a few areas that could use some work to make this a real show car. The engine and the transmission have fluid leaks, he tachometer works most of the time, ut sometimes will cut out. The paint has a number of chips in it. I have used a touch up paint just to cover the primer or metal. I can photograph specific areas on request. There are also two imperfections in the hood that I have photographed below. Recently I have had vapor lock in the fuel lines after driving on the highway on a hot day. Overall this is a reliable truck that has plenty of power and will get people's attention everywhere you go!
