Offered here by owner is a nice 37 Chevrolet barn survivorcar with a clear Florida title in my name.. Original running gear front to back see below.Car has recently had a custom C+S designed flatback with fully operational trunk w latch. This alone makes this car worth double what another car just like it is. Slantback models are rare to begin with and this one has a trunk! Car was painted in rear when trunk was done, nd overall the car can stand a nice vintage respray.
So why am I offering it for sale?I justbought [by chance] a 38 with the updated running gear, o I will offer this stock version to someone who wants this running gear. Ask me about an available [seperately] 261 w/3 aces if you are a devout INLINER to make a killer StockRod.
About the 37:6 cyl runs very smooth. Has 2 1bbl carbs w split exhaust and dual glass packs. Finned Alum valve cove. Have original parts too. Trans works ok. Clutch has the typical chatter. Body is very nice throughout with no floor, r trunk rot. Some pinhole rust on door bottom to be expected for it's age, long with some small body paint chips and well earned dings and the running boards are solid but some attention is needed there. Has 5 like new wide whites, n stock wheels.6 volt system all works, uages and lights too. Glass is good but driver window has a crack. BANJO steering wheel.
Interior is gourgeous. Looks to have been re-done in stock trim. see pics. I paid premium for this car because it is so nice in all the right places, nd the back custom FLATRUNK makes this a sensible car to build out your way.
I'd sell it for a lower price minus the interior which I'd be happy to keep. Please know this is a car of an era which had design shortcomings, o do not expect a 'today car' type driving expierience from this car.
