Description of 1966 Chevrolet Corvette Roadster

1966 "NUMBERS MATCHING" CORVETTE ROADSTER Vintage Autohaus & Imports is proud to present this drive train numbers matching 4 speed Corvette (SEE PHOTOS). This is an accident free car with all bonding strips intact. The previous owner had the car for the last 34 years. The 300hp 327ci engine decodes as this. Stamp Pad = F0202HE-Vin # 6115743-Casting #3858174-Build DateB246. Head numbers are RT side casting # 3782461-B246 and LT side casting # 3782461-C16. Distributor # 1111153-6A10. Carburetor # 1492-66191. The engine has had a new distributor installed for drivability. The original distributor comes with the car. The transmission decodes as this. P0224 with Vin # 6115743 Factory rear end is still with the car and is stamped coded AK 3 1 66. We have decoded the vehicle to determine the numbers are the correct color and interior. Please see all the pictures to verify the numbers. We did a complete engine presoak and tune up to get the car running and preformed a compression test. All of the cylinders are showing great compression. After servicing the vehicles fluids the test drive was outstanding. The car ran out great. shifts well thru all gears. and clutch is smooth. The car is very tight. We installed new 15x7 Rally Wheels and new 235/70/15 Tires. The body is very solid all bonding strips are intact and have not been modified. Frame and suspension parts have surface rust but nothing to change the integrity of the car. The paint is drive quality with some chipping but has held up well since the re-spray prior to 1980. The interior is also in red with new seat upholstery dash pads and carpet done a couple of years ago. Door panels as well are in great condition. The white convertible top shows to be in nice condition. Original clock is still working as well as the radio. The car is also factory equipped with a power antenna.
