Description of 1964 Chevrolet Chevelle

This is a 1964 Chevelle Malibu Convertible. It is not a Super Sport. The car runs and drives. Car needs rust repair in the windshield pillars. hood. quarter panels. and elsewhere. The windshield is broken. Car needs to be reassembled after bodywork and paint. Windshield wiper motor and radio may not work but both are complete. Sunvisors need replacement. Car's taillight area was grafted on from a sedan. Adhesive was used to install windshield outer reveal moldings. Pockets were welded into the cowl for attaching the bottoms of the front fenders. Cowl drains were added and the rocker panels are divorced from the original cowl drain system. This car would be difficult for a beginner or novice to complete. I bought the car in 1990. rebuilt the original motor and transmission. fixed it up and drove it from 1995 until 2000. It was last driven on the road in 2000. I put 10. 00 miles on the car. Total mileage on the car is unknown. The car is currently not totally assembled. See photographs. Most of the parts required to assemble the car are included. The registration is in my name and is clear and transferable. This is not a title car in New York State. The registration is used to transfer ownership. VIN is 45667K175053. The original color scheme of the car was white with a red interior. The top on the car now is black and as far as I know has always had a black top. The top has holes in it and it needs to be replaced as well as the top pads. The car has a manual top. manual steering. and manual brakes. The rims are original. The tires have tread on them but are now over 20 years old. The car has stainless steel brake lines. stainless steel exhaust system. and fuel line. There are no rust holes in the doors or trunk lid. The front floor pans and trunk pans have been replaced. This is a 50-year old first year Chevelle Convertible. The motor. transmission. and rear end are all original to the car.
