Description of 1967 Chevrolet Corvette |
I have a 1967 Corvette Convertible COPO for sale. It is white with blue interior. automatic. original numbers matching 300hp 327. Also has power steering. speed warning and side exhaust. Car is showing just under 77. 00 miles. Original keys. original spare. A lot of original components still on the car. What makes this car unique is that it is one of the 13 Shriner Patrol Corvettes ordered in 1967. And it is the only one ordered with factory side pipes. Very collectable and rare. Documented with tank sticker/build sheet and it is documented as a Shriner Patrol car by the VIN number as well as it is on the build sheet. Great opportunity to own a 1 of 1 collectable 1967 Corvette. Car is not running and needs restoration. Frame only has surface rust. solid and no holes. Body birdcage is solid. no rust. I bought this car from the owner that bought it used in 1968 after the Shriner had sold it back to the dealership to buy his 1968. There hasn't been one for sale for over 10 years. The Patrol is the official escort and parade unit of the Tangier Shrine Temple of Omaha. NE. As you know they raise money to support Shriners Hospitals. This Omaha group ordered at least 10 new Corvettes every year for 1957 to 1981 and used them in many parades across the country every year. I have a lot of information on the Shrines Parade cars if you wanted more information. With the 1967 Corvette being the most desirable of all of the years. that's what makes this car valuable. Here are some pics of the car and info on it and the Shriners. Call or text 479-236-9012 for more info and details. car is located in Lowell. AR. Car is sold as is or a full restoration could be performed here for the new owner. This is the first car in the picture of all of the Shriners picking up their cars from the plant in Nov of 1966. Don't bid unless you intend to pay. |
