Description of 1955 Chevrolet C/K Pickup 2500

I want to start off by asking you to please call forhonest answers BEFORE you bid. Or better yet, ome by and look at the vehicle or have someone inspect it for you. I do the best I can describing my vehicles and I include very good pictures that can be expanded. I do this to try and avoid any misunderstandings. It is impossible to list every little item on a vehicle that may or may not beimportant to a buyer. Thanks.
Up front : This is an olderamateur restoration on a fairly straight old truck. The frame, hassis, nd driveline is from a 1986 Chevy 3/4 ton 4X4 truck. As you can see from the pictures, he wheel spacing is perfect and it has the appearance of a factory NAPCO 4X4 truck.
Outside condition: Thepaint job still has a nice shine to it. There are spots where touch ups have been done, ut all in all, t still shows well. The only rust issues this truck had was under the door sills, see pics. ), he bottom of both front fenders by the doors, nd both cab rear corners. They wererepaired but therepairs are starting to show signs of needing to be redone. The floor boards are very solid. I hate to say this, ut the previous owner rivetedthe vintage signs to the doors.Very small rivets, ut it will still leave small holes if the signs are removed. The bed has all new wood. The glass is allin tack and decent except for the windshield. It has a small rock chip, iper marks, nd fogging around the edges. Door glass rolls up and down very well. Wipers work. The hood latch must be missing a part? It does not do the final latch, ust the secondary latch works? There is no problem with it flying open, ut I wanted to mention it. Lights all work. Aluminum tool box in the bed.
Inside condition: The interior is very basic. The seat coverings are good. The carpet anddash are just OK. Radiodelete plate. Steering wheel missing small chunk out of the grip. There is an under the dash heater that works, ut it is not factory. Nothing of high quality here.
Driveline condition: Truck runs out just fine. Plenty of power. Engine and trans were evidently both rebuilt at some point. I took a valve cover off to verify and found the top of the head was super clean the valve springs looked new. Trans shifts like a new one also. Transfer case works as well as the manualfront hub lockouts. Tires have lots of tread left. Brakes work just fine. There are 2 exhaust leaks. One manifold to pipe gasket, donut seal ) and a small hole in one muffler. I want to mention that there is a small vibration at highway speeds. Previousowner thought it was a tire out of balance. I think it feels more like a bad U joint? Whatever it is, do notbelieve it is a big deal. It is not noticeableunder about 55 miles per hour.Never had achance to have it checked out. Newer aluminum radiator. Engine runs very cool. Power steering and brakes.

I do not give out my reserve price. Too many knuckleheads out there that like to play games with bidding just under the reserve amount with no intention of actually buying the vehicle. Makes it look like schill bidding is going on.
If you have a feed back rating less that 100% or less than 10 total feedbacks, ou might want to check with me before bidding. I will sometimesblock or cancel bids if I get a bad feeling for the bidder. Non-paying winners are a real problem for sellers and it is hard to get seller fees refunded from Ebay in a timely manner, f at all.
