Description of 1971 Chevrolet Corvette |
Just Toys Classic Cars is very proud to present this amazing 1971 Chevrolet Corvette Pro Street. This car is built well from tip to tail, ut don't ask it's quarter mile times because we don't know. It was totally built for the street and not the strip. This was a very popular thing to do to a car back in the 90's where it looks like it should haul ass down the strip but never hits one. This is a beautiful car that is fun to drive, nd you should ad it to your collection today. We guarantee that you will be the only person on your block with a vette like this. It goes without saying, hat the C3 Corvettes are pretty cool and still very popular today. The lines on this car in this color combination just make you want to go fast looking at it. There is no such thing as a laser straight corvette because fiberglass is all going to have a little wave in it, ut this one is darn close. As you will see in the undercarriage pics, his car is just as clean underneath. The paint is yellow with a house of colors pearl, ith purple accents. This car was painted in the last 5 years and still shows very fresh. Now, hen you open the door to this cool beauty, ou are going to really see a very basic 1971 Chevrolet Corvette interior. Crank windows, utomatic, nd the basic dash package. There is a roll bar that was added for looks as well as for safety. Other than that, here is not a whole lot of "special" things done to the interior. Now really for the business end of things. Under the hood of this really awesome Corvette sits at well chromed out 383 with a mild cam. As you will see in the pics there are also the chromed out side pipe headers coming off the car, nd to assist with the heat, here are the "Corvette" heat shields that have been added. This sweet running motor is matted to a turbo 400 transmission. The rear end of this car has been "back halved" as you will see in the pics that means that the original rear end of the car has been long gone, he wheel wells tubed out and a narrowed Dana 60 rear end has taken the place of the independent transverse mounted leaf spring rear end. This one will put a lot of power to the ground. We had to do an old school test for rear gear ratio by turning the tire and checking drive shaft turns, nd it looks like a 4.30 rear gear in it. Sounds steep, ut you need that to turn those big tires. You really want to make this car come to life, ut a set of 4.56 gears back there and fry tires till the cows come home. This car as we have said and you can tell by the pics is just a ton of fun to drive and is very streetable to take to car shows and cruise nights. If you wanted to, he car is mostly there that you could just do a few things and turn it in to a strip car. The good bones are already there to do it. We do offer classic car financing for anyone that would like to take advantage of the option. There are plenty of great rates, nd terms so you can get the car you always wanted and don't have to drain your bank account to get it. We look forward to speaking with you soon, nd we look forward to making you the newest member of the Just Toys Classic Cars family. All photos can be viewed at justtoysclassiccars.com |
