1961 Impala Hot Rod

My wife bought this car for me when I retired from the Military last year. It was complete but had been sitting for over 40 years. I spent a lot of money and hours along with a lot of headaches to get my Impala going again. These one year only cars are getting harder to find, nd twice the price if it was a 2 door.

Sun pro gauges under dash and Tach on wheel, lso original gas gauge works. Stock Speedo and odometer gauges did not work after I installed 700r4
Brand new Impala Bob's gas tank, ender, uel lines and Carterfuel pump. New ignition Switch and column rebuilt, lso all lights and horn work.
Champion Aluminum 3 core radiator with twin electric fans and sport thermostat, ith gauge under dash
Edelbrock Performer 2101intake, 00 Carb with electric choke, nd 14" summit air cleaner
Comp 280h cam with 480 lift/230 duration, peed Pro hyper 2 dish relief flat top pistons, erformance z28 springs
hardened push rods, crew in studs /guide plates, V oil pump, ardened seats for pump gas, el pro gaskets.

New Summit High Performance Mini Starter 153 Toothand ground wires, ll new Arp Stainless or Grade 8 bolts throughout Motor and Tranny

Only run 15w40 Rotellaoil and Wix filters.Also run premium gas and Z Max in Oil, ranny and Gas Tank.
Headman coated 1 5/8"long tube headers and new custom bent Aluminizeddual 2 1/2" Spin Tech pro street exhaust also.Sounds mean with Cam

My Impala is a very nice example of a Rat Rod without the serious rust issues that most have, he looks and runs great, nd with Cam sounds crazy mean.
Over 20k spent in the last year and 6k paid just in labor the last few months with all receipts anddocumentation. No leaks or known mechanical issues whatsoever

Car is currently driven weekly and new drive train has 325 miles. Just performed the 300 mile oil change with Rotella, ix filterand Lucas Cam additive. Motor is SBC 350 2bolt main completely rebuilt with new flat tops and gaskets etc. Transmission is 700r4 Auto Overdrive with Lockup, ompletely rebuilt with Corvette Syncros, he Beast, ardened Sunshell, alvoline Fluid with Friction Reducer. New 2200 stall converter and 3.70 gears in rear end with new gaskets, earings etc. CPP 4 wheel 11" Disc Brakes with Single Piston calipers and semi metallic pads. New CPP Dual master cylinder and proportioning valve. Brakes are Manual but work amazing and stop this 4000 lb car easily. The E Brake rear cables and parts are installed but the E Brake foot pedal lever in car needs to be looked at to work. Car can easily be a daily driver, ights, linkers and Horn work. Wipers need a new motor, nd of course the car has no A/C or Heat. This Impala sounds amazing with the Comp Cam and Pro Street exhaust, nd drives like a sports car with the New Global West Billet Front End. I have looked on what these cars are going for on Ebay and Craigslist, nd you could not buy or build one with this quality of parts for what my Reserve is. I took these Pics with my Computer, nd they do not do this car justice. Just look at my feedback and how long I have been on Ebay, nd that will tell you if I am describing the car well Absolutely fun car to drive, ust ready for the next project. Thanks for looking
