This beautiful stingray has only had 2 owners and the last one owned the car since 1974. It has always been garaged and well cared for. It hasn’t been fully frame off restored but has been well kept throughout the years with almost everything mechanically and cosmetically being replaced. Paint and body are in excellent condition; it was painted about 15 years ago but always garaged and waxed regularly so the paint looks like new with only minor wear nothing serious. The body is very nice with only minor wear, hich is 2 small cracks by the headlights and a small crack in the LT1 hood (both pictured). As you can tell by the pictures the paint is gorgeous it has a very nice shine, o orange peel, ll the gaps are very nice, tc. I would say it’s a good 2-3 footer and does win trophies at shows. Most of the trim and stainless was replaced, ew bumpers were installed. Top was replaced about 2 years ago and still looks like new. Entire convertible frame was also replaced. The matching numbers 350 was just professionally rebuilt and is pushing about 400 horse. The block was fully machined and the vin numbers were kept on the block. The block was powder coated and the crank and rods were completely reconditioned and balanced. J&E pistons were installed and the original heads were all rebuilt and port matched to the endurashine intake manifold. A 282 duration camshaft was installed and it has a nice rumble. HEI ignition was installed for dependability. Tons of chrome was added under the hood for the shows and people just flock around this car at the shows. Most everything is powder coated, hromed, r polished. Custom Aluminum radiator was just installed and this baby will not go over 185 degrees. Trans is the original Muncie 4-speed just rebuilt with new clutch, ew hardened internals. It shifts like butter and doesn’t make any funny sounds or noises. Rear is the original but completely overhauled with 3:42 gears installed. All the brakes were just replaced with new chrome master cylinder, ew lines, ew rotors, ew pads, nd new hardware. All the suspension was completely rebuilt a year ago with all new high performance polyurethane bushings. Complete new power steering assembly, hich includes new pump, ew lines, ew hardware, nd new rack. Interior is all original with the exception of the seats which were completely redone about a year ago with new correct covers, oam, nd hardware. The rest of the interior is still original and in excellent shape for the age. All of the gauges work including the clock, hich is rare. The entire headlight and wiper system was just all replaced and work flawlessly, he wiper door comes up using the override but works, s it should. As mentioned before the top was replaced 2 years ago and looks like new along with the convertible top frame. All of the turn signals, ights, tc work, s they should. A Modern classic industries radio was installed with new speakers in the back, t has the USB/MP3 hookup so you can listen to some nice tunes while cruising with the top down. The underneath is spotless; the frame is completely rust free. It was always garaged as mentioned earlier and well cared for. You will not find a better kept C3 Corvette. Has the correct rallys with oversize tires to give it a very smooth ride and with most of the suspension replaced it handles and rides like a true sports car should. Tires still have like new tread on them. The trailer is completely custom with matching Rallys and was built for this Corvette so this beauty could be taken on cross-country road trips. It also is nice for the shows because you can strap a cooler and chairs in the back since the car has no room once you put the top down. It trailers very nice and you would be amazed at how many people give you the thumbs up as you’re cruising down the road. If the buyer is not a fan of the trailer you can easily remove the chrome hitch and have a show stopping C3 Corvette. Overall I would say this is a very nice cruiser ready to take you anywhere with tons of thumbs up along the way. It was built to be super dependable and to still win trophies.
