This car has a lot of potential, ot rod, at rod, treet rod, ow rider, riginal, hatever you decide. Got to admit, t is a cool car. When I bought the car I pulled the spark plugs and sprayed WD-40 into all the cylinders until I had time to work on it. Under the car looked really good, uch better than I had expected. The car came from Kansas. The passenger side front floor had been patched and unfortunately the patch did more damage than good. I replaced the front and rear floor pans along with the cowl body support in order to do it right. From inside and under the car it looks good. All of the floor supports and rocker panels look solid with no rot or rust through. Cars are sometimes described as having rust but in reality you shouldn't be able to put your fingers or hands through rust. I'm from the North East and I know the there is a difference $$$ between rust and rot. The lower rear quarters and deck lid were replaced due to being ripped open, ot rotted, aybe from being moved with a loader or forklift. The drivers door bottom was replaced with an inner and outer patch panels, he passenger side is good. The inner and outer rocker panels are solid, he frame and body braces are in good condition. The drivers side floor has a few pinholes as seen in the photos, didn't think they were bad enough to replace. I also replaced the under battery air duct and battery tray. The engine looked clean and was able to run without doing too much. I cleaned the points, ap and rotor, illed the carburetor with gas, ot wired it and it started. As good as it ran and as rare as this car is I decided it would be best to leave the car in original condition. It does have a 235 cu.in. in it and not the 216 cu in. It has a 3 speed on the column. The engine I replaced the: points, lugs, ires, ap, otor, il, il filter, alve stem seals, uel pump, ilter, arburetor kit, ater pump, an belt, il pan gasket, ntake gasket, ead gasket set. The generator and voltage regulator are 12 volt. The generator has a rebuilt tag on it. It looks recent. The clutch was recent but I did replace the throw out bearing and change the gear oil in the transmission. The car has a new gas tank, uel sending unit, ill hoses and also a new 3 core aluminum radiator. I put in all new wheel cylinders, aster cylinder, aster cylinder cover, lexible lines front and rear. Cleaned and repacked the front wheel bearings and seals. Power washed the engine compartment and painted. The nose was removed and most of the smaller parts glass beaded, rimed and painted. While the engine was out we dropped the oil pan and found it to be clean with no sludge. We also removed the cylinder head to check the condition of the cylinders, believe the engine was rebuilt and few miles as it had no ridge and the cylinder walls have fairly recent cross hatch pattern from being honed. While apart we also replaced the valve stem seals. When I start the car hot or cold it doesn't smoke. The car has new front and rear windshield rubber gaskets. I don't have the passenger side windshield glass. Both vent windows and drivers door window have been replaced. The car was/is equipped with tinted green glass. The car is in primer and most of the bodywork done. The front and rear seats have been reupholstered in green material. I bought the tires and wheels from a friend, he tires have barely any wear but the wheels do have some pitting from sitting. The car is wired so it can be started from the inside with an aftermarket ignition switch. The ignition and starter wiring has been replaced. The remainder of the wiring will need some attention. I have a lot of time and money into this car, he one thing I didn't do is spend too much so the work will have to be duplicated should you go a different route than original. If it doesn't sell this time the drive train will be available as I have a blown 355 Chevy going into it. There are a lot of parts available for this car and again your choice of hot rod, treet rod or original. It yard drives and can be driven onto a trailer for transportation. The shipping is the responsibility of the buyer. I can assist in loading if needed. A $500 deposit required within 48 hours, ull payment within 7 days.
