I have a 1938 Chevy 2-Door Businessman's Coupe. This is a Project Car !! No Engine or Transmission. Set up for Small Block Chevrolet & Turbo 350 Cross member. I had a certified Street Rod builder for 30 years install an Independent Front Suspension, nbsp;Mustang II Rack & Pinion Steering Set up & 11" Chevelle Rotors up front. I also had him Braze all the holes in the firewall and smooth out the firewall. Area lower valance panel was purchased, he old panel cut out & the new panel was clamped into place & then I stopped working on it.... It has been in the barn now for over 15 years. Time for me to move on from this Project. I have all the glass, oth windshields, ll new rubber stripping, nbsp;chrome bumpers wrapped in foam rubber (they were re-chromed).... There is No interior in this car. It was going to be a Street Rod, nbsp;the Floor is SOLID, nbsp;NO ROT... The fenders, he Quarters, he Roof all have NO RUST... This is NOT a rotted out Rust bucket. It was in a garage for 20 years before I bought it & I bought this car in 1998. All the glass has been removed as the previous owner was going to chop it. It NEVER got chopped. Still is ALL ORIGINAL... All four Fenders are BRAND NEW. they are fiberglass fenders. The running boards are here. A set of Stewart Warner gauges, ew still in the packages. i have a set of Hidden Door hinges but they are Not installed on the car... The car has the Original door hinges and they are in Excellent condition... Doors do not sag at all... I have TWO Complete Hoods that have Not been altered in any way. I have the front grill, he headlight cans.... I have a Brand New 4 core radiator. The NOS Rear Trunk Lid is ALL STEEL. The METAL TRUNK LID IS FOR SALE.... However, ou Must buy the rest of the car... I have received so many requests about selling just the Trunk Lid & the Door hinges... This is a Package Deal. I have Sooo Many parts for this car that I'm sure I have forgot a few... Please feel free to ask me questions about this... the car is located in the Boston area..... I purchased the car from a gentleman in New Jersey & he told me if my memory serves me correctly that he purchased the car in Ohio.... Not really 100% sure of that !!! I have the VIN tag & Trim tag however I haven't pulled it out to put on this listing. Please Realize that this is a PROJECT. It is a very desirable year & body style. This is NOT a 2 door Coupe or a 4 door Coupe.... this is the Rad Business Man's Coupe. The body is Amazingly straight & there is Not much work needed to get this ready for paint... I had a SBC ZZ4 engine mocked up in it with a Turbo 350 Trans... But, omeone offered to buy those and at the time I was thinking about going to a fuel injected motor anyway but obviously never did.
