Description of 1971 Chevrolet Other Pickups C20 Fleetside |
Up for bid is a regular cab 1971 Chevrolet C20 3/4-Ton Fleetside Pickup Truck that has only been driven approximately 16,000 miles since its 'top-to-bottom' restoration by its second owner. This truck came equipped from the factory with a 350 cubic inch engine, -speed manual transmission, -season air-conditioning, ower steering, ower brakes, m radio, nd more. Everything on this truck was either rebuilt, eplaced, r refurbished during the restoration including a new GM Performance 4-bolt 350 cubic inch crate engine with Edelbrock intake and 4-barrel carburetor, omplete front end, rakes, ransmission, lutch, uspension, ual exhaust system, VAC system, omplete interior, nd much more. According to the second owner who acquired the truck from the original owner in 1975, here was no rust or body damage other than minor scratches and *small repair of the top corners of the engine firewall (see photos)* prior to its restoration. Although it appears to be closer to a "Hugger Orange" hue, he truck was painted to match its original 1964-1974 Chevy truck red color using NAPA #514 acrylic enamel. **There are areas of orange peel, ver spray, nd runs in the paint that still remain to be buffed out to give the truck the proper quality finish it truly deserves.** This truck needs nothing as it starts, uns, rives, nd stops very well with no smoke, attles, queaks, r other abnormal noises and gets plenty of attention wherever it goes. Please view the photos closely to get a better idea of the condition of this truck and ask any and all questions prior to placing your bid. With continued proper care and maintenance, his truck should provide many more years of enjoyable driving and is being sold "as is - where is" with no warranty expressed or implied. The winning bidder is responsible for pick up and delivery. I reserve the right to end the auction. Thanks and Good Luck. **Revision Note: Opening bid and buy-it-now price have been lowered $1,000 and $1,500 respectively to compensate for paint buffing cost. **Revision Note: Added photos of repair areas of firewall corners. |
