Description of 1972 Chevrolet Corvette LT1 with Air Conditioning |
1972 Corvette "RARE LT1 with Air Conditiong 19K Mile Survivor Time Capsule" This car is in Amazing Survivor Condition. Warbonnet Yellow Loaded with Options. I have Owner History from 07/1974 (2nd Owner) until (4) current. In addition I have the original keys as well as an unused set of keys with knockouts still intact. I have a large spiral boundbook of Documents. Chevrolet produced 27,004 Corvettes in 1972. 1741 were LT1's. Of that 240 (180 Coupes) came equipped with Air Conditioning. They produced 2550 in Warbonnet Yellow. About 10.5% of production. That breaks down to about (18 Warbonnet yellow)LT1 Air Coupes. Add theoptions and DarkSaddle brown Interior and that number is most likely less. How many are left today in this condition with under 20K Documented Survivor miles? This most likely the lowest milesuvivor LT1 ACcar in existance.I would say this is one "RARE CAR"!! There has been over $8,000 (I have all the receipts) spent on Maintenance since 2006. The Original date coded Smog Pump was just professionally rebuilt and restored (see pic it was removed and stored in a box for years and stayed with the car) to NCRS standards a few months ago. Itjust needs to be installed. The tires were installed in 2006 and only have about 400 miles. Base Coupe - $5,533.00 Warbonnet yellow - 989 Dark Brown Saddle Interior - 417 LT1 - 350/255 HP - $483.45 (Net HP/Solid Lifters) Sounds like a BB Car. GV7 - 3:55 Axle Ratio (STD. LT1 Air Cars) C60 - Air Conditioning $464.50 N37 - Tilt/Telescopic Colum - $84.30 N40 - Power Steering $115.90 J50 - Power Brakes $47.50 PT7 - White Stripe Tire F70-15 - $30.35 U69 AM/FM Radio - $178.00 AB5 - Deluxe Shoulder Harness - Standard Coupe Dealer Installed Luggage Rack - $115.00. This car is in Amazing Condition. This car is an Easy Bloomington Gold and NCRS Bowtie car!! I have been in touch with the NCRS Judges and spoke in detail about this car including Drew (Expert Judge on LT1 cars)Papson. This car was to be Judged in Lakeland, lorida this past January, ut my schedule did not permit. The car was purchased New from Ross Chevrolet (no longer around..I have an original postcard showing the Dealership) in Limon Colorado and spent its life in Colorado. Rust Free car. The Exterior Has been painted (has original paint in the door jambs) at some point 23 plus years ago. The paint is in great shape with a few nicks and chips do to normal useage. But still shows (see pics) very well. The original chrome bumpers and chrome exhaust tips are in incredible shape. The Interior is a "Time Capsule" and is 100% Original and shows almost "No Wear" at all! Even the seat cushions feel like new. Everything is tight and solid. Pristine dash, oor panels and carpet. The Engine Compartment is 100% Original Everything with the exception of the Carb. It is a 1970 LT1 (rebuilt and restored with receipt)Carburetor. When speaking with the 3rd (He bought the car with 18,100 miles in 1992 and sold in 2006 with 18,861miles) owner I was told the the original owner removed the carb for a 1970 LT1 Carb as well as the smog pump. The smog pump stayed with the car and the original carb went missing. Maybe traded back in the day. The 4th owner purchased the car in 2006 with 18,861 miles and sold it to me in 2014 with 19,175 miles. The undercarriage is rust free and shows almost new. A few spots with some very very minor surface rust. The car still sports its Original Exhaust system that shows in great shape with no leaks or holes. 100% Numbers Matching Car right down to the AC Compressor. Even has the Original "Date Coded" T-Top Panel Bags in unused (Stored in plastic behind the seat)condition. Original Unused White Stripe Spare with Factory Marks and Unsused Jack and Tool. Even the Stickers on the Interior compartments are Pristine. This car doesn't leak any Fluids! Not a drop. They are only Original once!! Other than the Paint, riginal Tires (Changed in 2006), elts, oses, ir Cleaner element (I Have the Originals Changed in 2013), attery, ndright rear (replaced withNos Factory)Muffler the car is as it left the Factory on 06/05/1972. All Original LOF date coded Glass in amazing condition, riginal rims, rim rings and caps in great shape. Not many cars can say that after 43 years. Everything works on this car including Headlight (up and down fast and smooth)doors, ll Lights, iper Door, ipers, ll Gauges, peedometer, ach, dometer, ll Interior Lights, ighter, ey Buzzer, actory Alarm and Ice Cold AC!! Clock works on and off. Cars like this don't come around often. True collectors prefer a Survivor over a Restoration. This is from my Private Collection. I am not a Dealer. This car has been stored properly over the years andhas had only 1,000 milessince 1992. All the miles were put on from 1972-1977. The 2nd owner purchased the car with about 5,500 miles. He drove it for few years and then sold it to his son. It stayedin the family. His son was in the service so the miles remained low. The car went into storage around 1977-78. It sat in a climate controlled garage until 1992 when the 3rd owner purchased it from the son. The son passed away in the service and the Dad passed away in May 2013. I have it stored on a lift in a climate controlled Garage on aTrickle Charger and a Corvette fitted Flannel (Included) Cover. I have many pics as well as a walk around video with the car running. Sounds Awesome! Call me with any questions (239) 784-2424. I am open to trade for a 1970 Restored Chevelle SS Coupe or Convetible or a Nice restored C2 Corvette. I collect only Nice Original Restored Cars or Very Nice OriginalSurvivor cars. I am not into Resto Mods or Junk so please don't ask. Very Reasonable Asking Price and Reserve. Please No Stupid Offers. On May-08-15 at 09:35:52 PDT, eller added the following information: This car is sold "AS IS" with No Warranty. This is a 43 year old car and is not restored.
