BEAUTIFULLY RESTORED 1957 CHEVROLET BEL AIR CONVERTIBLE 100% MATCHING NUMBERS Up for sale by a private party is this spectacular "frame off"restored 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible wearing its numbers matching Inca Silver paint job and Matador red simulated leather interior. Equaling its near perfect exterior and interior is the original and totally rebuilt 220 horse power 283 cu. in. "Power Pack"Chevy small block backed by the 2 speed power glide automatic transmission, nd 3.36:1 rear differential. This ‘57 is on its third owner who purchased it from Memphis TN in 1988. It has never been in any accidents; has NEVER had any rust, ody work, r replacement body panels welded in. Its steel body, loor boards, nd frame are 100% original. The frame off restoration took 2 years and was completed in 2006. The owner's goal was to restore the Chevrolet to its original show room condition. The under carriage is even painted in the red oxide primer as it was in 1957. All of the undercoating has been removed. Since the restoration this Chevy has only been driven 2035 miles!!!! It has always been kept in a climate controlled garage and NEVER in any bad weather.....EVER. Just in case you are curious.....everything on the car is either new or NOS. Nothing was overlooked.
