The gauges are crisply rendered with nice clear lenses and we have to admit we've always liked the standard Camaro steering wheel. The factory AM radio is still in the center of the dash and the only demerit we can find is some age on the chrome surrounding the heater controls. The aforementioned trunk is neatly turned out with a reproduction mat and a full-sized spare with jack assembly.The restoration really shines under the hood, here you'll find a correct 327 cubic inch V8 dressed for show. It's complete with an original smog system, hich is an incredibly rare find, nd it's still inhaling through its original 2-barrel carb. Someone obviously cared about authenticity. Chevy Orange paint, correct single snorkel air cleaner, nd plain valve covers add to the factory-correct look. Power steering and brakes make this car as easy to drive as your modern iron and the 2-speed PowerGlide automatic transmission makes the most of the 327's ample torque. A new dual exhaust system sounds just about right for a car that neatly straddles the performance/comfort line and the undercarriage is every bit as nice as you'd hope in a car that looks like this.
