This is my 1969 Chevrolet Corvette with all matching numbers engine, ransmission and rear end. It's an extremely original car that retains all of what was installed at the factory with the exception of what needed to be replaced for drivability and safety. I boughtthis car from the second owner with the intention of turning it into a resto-mod for myself but after receiving it and going over all the original documents decided that it’s just too nice of an unrestored car to start tearing it apart. Interestingly, p until the time I bought it, his car has spent all 46 years of it's life with the first two owners within a few miles of the original selling dealership in Owatonna, innesota.The original owner special ordered it in January 1969, eceived it in April and kept it for the next 41 years! The odometer is currently showing 32,795 miles and after thoroughly going over the car, believe it to be correct. Everything seems to be in good working order and even all the factory installed glass is still present. It was ordered with the following options according to the tank sticker: 427 CI - 390 HP Turbo Jet V8, -speed close ratio transmission,posi-traction 3:36 rear end,tilt-telescopic steering wheel,soft ray tinted glass, ear window defroster,F70-15 red stripe tires, pecial wheel covers, ront fender louvers with trim, M/FM radio in Fathom green with black interior.I have the original window sticker ($5729.05 MSRP), rotecto plate, arranty papers, wner’s manual, ey number knock outs (rare), pecial order receipt with the $100 deposit check, aid in full delivery bill of sale receipt and the canceled check for the remaining balance of $5249.85 dated April 3, 969. The original owner drove it approximately 18,343 miles up until late 1974 when he parked it in hisfurniturewarehouse only to be taken out occasionally. He only added about 11,254 more miles over the next 15 years when the car needed a new AC Delcocarburetor(have the original) installed August 2,1989 with 29,597 miles. The points and condenser were also replaced (have the receipt). The gas tank developed a leak and was replaced with a new one March 26, 990. I have the original tank with the broadcast sheet still attached! New Firestone F70-15 red stripe bias ply tires were installed June 13, 990 (still on the car with no signs of dry rot). Four new brake calipers with stainless piston sleeves were installed June 25, 996 (I have the original calipers). The exhaust pipes are stainless steel and both mufflers were replaced with OE style from "Corvette Central" June 22, 011. This year, hedistributorcap, otor button and spark plugs were replaced. The car starts, uns, rives very well.The paint is in nice condition with some "checking" in places. Mostly on the top of the front fenders, pper portion of the driver's & passenger's door and around the fuel filler door (look at the photos). I’ve never owned a Corvette before but have been told that it’s a common issue on these fiberglass cars. I would rate the paint a 7 out of 10 but I'm very particular. In photos, he car looks almost perfect. I can’t see where any prior accident damageoccurredand was told that the original owner had the car re-painted once sometime in the 80’s (looks like lacquer paint). All of the chrome and bright work are excellent. There are some stone chips with most of them being in front of the rear tires behind the door, ommon on these cars again. There is a 1/2" crack in the left fender hood channel. The front air dam was replaced and the rocker panel trim was refurbished. It's hard to believe that the bumpers are original but they look perfect.The black interior is in excellent condition. It does have an "elbow" crack on the top of center console but there are no cracks orwarpingof the dash pad or tears in the seats or door panels. The original storage doors behind the front seats are perfect (which I'm told is rare due to their composition). The interior looks as good as any 46 year old that car I’ve ever seen or owned. All the gauges look new with no fading to the numbers and all are working. The bright work & trim throughout the interior look nice. The original carpet is in very good condition with one wear area on the drivers side under the clutch and brake pedal. The lights, adio and even the clock all work as do the fiber optics. The engine, lutch, ransmission and differential all are in great condition. The engine compartment remains untouched and does not resemble a NCRS restoration by any means. It's only original once. Even the smog pump and emission tubes were never removed and still work (rare to see it still in place as well). The car was professionally appraised for insurance reasons in 2010. I have a copy of that report and the car was valued at $45000 right after the collector car market tanked in 2009. I don't expect to get anywhere near that amount and my reserve is exactly what I paid for the car. The car is sold as is where is with no warranty inferred or implied. You are welcome to inspect the car yourself or have a reputable company do an inspection on your behalf at your expense. I hold the title free and clear of anyencumbrancesand the car or the title will not be released until the funds have cleared my account. A $1,000.00 non-returnable PayPal deposit needs to be made within 24 hours of the sale ending and full balance to be paid within 7 days of auction ending.
