Description of 1931 Chevrolet Other

RARE! 1931Chevrolet madeby General Motors of Canada LTD Oshawa. This car has an amazing history This car was the last car off the assembly line so it was on display in city hall for a while.. It was very important to the townspeople because over 80% of the people worked at the plant and the town barely survived the plant closing. The car was known by everyon, It was their pride and joy as a example of what they produced. the foreman drove the car intheCanada day parade and other local events. the foreman passed awayandhisdaughter put it into storage knowing how much it meant to him and to the town. There was talk of the townputting it on display again but most of the people thatremembered it had passed away and in didn't mean anything to them any more. I bought it from a collector in Florida who bought it because of the other car that was being sold with it. the car is all original with only 32,738 miles on it .The engine doesn't smoke and runs very quite. there are no heating up issues, t runs like a car with only 32,000 mile on it there are no rattles or shimmying. The car has a electric fuel pump because the original has a bad diaphragm which is a easy fix. the interior and the paint are all original. the fenders are pitted andcould use painting. The brakes sometimes pull to theleft and might need adjusting. The car is very reliable and can be used as i, or restored. the speedometer and the gauges all wor, but the gas gauge is intermittent. I have tried for a year to findsome information or another 31 made in Canada. with no luck. Try it yourself . The car comes with a transferable registration from the Province of Ontario dated 9-30-99. and a bill of sale only.Canada doesn't use titles for cars this old. Finally figured out how to get the trunk open and their were some surprises. There is the original heavy leather lace up tire cover with the chevy logo and the name "D Winton, estchester" printed on it, t is faded but you can still make it out. Also there is the original combination crank handle and lug wrench and a grease gun of a type I have never seen before, nd there is a ignition switch cable of the type that attaches directly to the starter. There also a scissor type jack from the 50's. One thing I forgot to mention in the original listing is that the knob on the drivers side window crank is broken off, ut I am sure that would easily replaced. It is amazing how original the car is right down to the leather key chain, I sure hate to sell it but I have another car coming in and I need the space.. This is the second time I have tried to add this to the listing so if it shows up twice I apologize. Thanks Leroy
