1968 Corvette 427/400 tri-power L68 Convertible with FACTORY AIR CONDITIONING, 20 four speed, ower steering and power brakes. Documented with original tank sticker. Only 1,932 427/400 cars produced in 1968. Likely very few convertibles produced with this motor and factory air conditioning. Silverstone Silver exterior with Gunmetal vinyl interior, hite convertible top. AM/FM radio. Number matching engine and transmission (not restamped). Body completely disassembled and restored and drivetrain rebuilt in 2002/03 documented with pictures and extensive file of receipts totaling nearly $80,000. Carbs re-done again in 2014. Mostly original interior including carpet, onsole, ash, oor panels. Very late 1968 production - VIN #428470 with the final 1968 production VIN of 428566. Tank sticker and NCRS shipping report show vehicle ordered by Kilpatrick Chevrolet in Boaz, L and delivered to Joe Clayton Chevrolet in Arab, L. Both dealerships are still in business. Car featured in Motor Trend Classic magazine Summer 2010.
