Description of 1970 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Tribute

Hugger Orange Camaros will always be in demand, nd this 1970 Camaro definitely has the right look. And it's more than just skin deep, oo, ith a great-running 350 under the hood, classic black bucket seat interior, nd a ton of potential to be the Camaro you've always dreamed of owning. It's safe to say that we like the way this Camaro looks. A lot. It's got the right stance, he right color, nd the overall look of the second-generation cars is aggressive yet refined. We're also glad to see this one wearing the 1-piece front bumper that was there when it was built rather than some faked-up RS setup. Finish quality on the vivid Hugger Orange paint is good, ith a great gloss that's especially noticeable on the black SS stripes. It's a very straight car, o the reflections in its surface aren't distorted and panel alignment is very good. Out back, lower Z/28-style deck lid spoiler has the right look and is also wrapped in black stripes, iving it a very cohesive look. The window trim has been blacked-out, o the car has a custom look that'll make everyone look twice without knowing quite what has changed, nd the dark tinted windows certainly add a sinister vibe. Nice chrome bumpers and neatly detailed taillights make the car shine in the sun and it wears Z/28 badges in all the right places. The black interior is finished to stock specs, ncluding the bucket seats, hich wear recent seat covers. Fresh carpets, eproduction door panels, nd a very clean dash pad all contribute to the recently finished look, lthough it appears that this was a work in progress when life suddenly got in the way (it happens). What that means is that the new owner will get to pick the entertainment system and tweak the other areas of the car to suit his tastes, aving a lot of work in tearing out someone else's mistakes. The factory gauges are in good original condition, ou'll note that this car carries factory A/C, nd GM's famous horseshoe shifter manages a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. Open the trunk and you'll find a typical warm-weather trunk with no major issues and spatter-finish paint. The smart-running 350 cubic inch V8 looks fresh in its bright Chevy Orange paint, nd a modern twist was added with the carbon fiber valve covers and air cleaner. Code HB actually specs out to a 1969 300-horsepower engine, hich is definitely welcome here. The aforementioned TH350 shifts crisply and powers a 10-bolt rear end in the surprisingly well-detailed chassis. Flowmaster mufflers sound awesome and it was treated to red oxide primer on the floors, o it looks quite correct overall. There's also a new gas tank out back and a set of gorgeous Torque Thrust style wheels wearing staggered 215/60/15 front and 255/70/15 rear BFGoodrich T/A radials. This car is an excellent representation of a classic on the rise, nd if you can live without a radio, t's a turn-key Saturday Night Special that is a lot of fun for not a lot of cash.
