1967 Maroon / Black original 427/390hp convertible restored to perfection. In 1967, orvette made approximately 2375 convertibles with the 427/390hp engine, r 16% of the total. Thispower plant is the most reliable of the big blocks, s its lower 10.25 compression heads andpistons along with a passenger style hydraulic camshaft was rarely abused by drivers. The 3x2carburetors used on the 400hp and 435hp engines always needed adjusting for proper air / fuel ratios, nd also were prone to leaks due to engine vibration. This beautiful example has never been damaged and has complete 11 owner history since birth. It also has all its ''ORIGINAL'' driveline engine, ransmission and differential. In 2005 thru early 2007 the car was completely ''BODY OFF'' restored to NCRS and BLOOMINGTON GOLD standards. Note the original engine stamp pad, ust free frame prior to clean up, nd the attention to detail the restoration shop completed. The numbers all line up.
