1968 CAMARO RS SS CONVERTIBLE--LS6 4L60--
This 1968 Camaro has been through a complete transformation with the intention of making a first generation camaro the best looking, erforming, ruising on long distances, how and better yet GO anywhere, nytime without issues....and be as comfortable as if your driving a new car. Well guess what? HE DID IT! He being my friend and without a doubt my idle. Elmer. He is a retired professional machinist that owned his own machine shop. He is a talented fabricator and has a passion for vintage cars. What else would he do after retirement but to hand build his own Bad a** muscle cars? So he does. This is the 4th modern LS motor conversion he's done since I've known him. I too tinker with muscle cars but NOT to this level. He hand builds many brackets and dreams up some fantastic rides. The car is an Arizona car and has NO rust at all anywhere. The trunk floor has been replaced properly. The paint is Lemans Blue with painted white stripes cleared over. Paint and bodywork is SHOW quality The engine is a new crate LS6 with new 11:2 compression heads PN 88958662 Complete Comp Cam kit XR265HR 4 speed 4L60 overdrive transmission 3:50 Posi 10 bolt rear end Dynotech Polished Headers Speartech engine wiring and program with O2 sensors OBD2 for safety he added an Emergency inertia fuel cut crash sensor Dakota digital VHX gauges, nbsp;Detroit speed wiper motor, on Francis control electric fan Vinage Air R134 charge, nbsp;Custom Auto Sound system Custom Real Leather interior door panels included, ustom Bucket style rear bench seat and 2002 camaro seats and console New convertible top, rame, ump, ines and cylinders. Works Flawlessly! All new Glass, ully Dynomat insulated, ven the trunk All new Chrome, S grille with Retro-Electric headlight door motors. Works perfectly! Foose 17" and 18" wheels with Nitto tires, A1 Adjustable shocks GM 4 wheel disc brakes, hrome Tuff-Stuff power brake booster 2 1/2" Flowmaster dual exhaust. Nice low roar! just right for comfortable cruising but a real beast when you HIT it!!! Factory P/S gearbox. Handles very well!
Only driven 1,000 or so miles and no issues at all. Very fun, eliable and TURN KEY, othing to hide Show stopping cruiser. Don't pass this opertunity to own the car you always wanted (maybe more) at a price you can't even buy all the parts to build. Over $80,000 invested in this car not counting his own labor. If you ever built a car then you know how it happens. You pour more money into it than you'll ever get back and your time.....well that's what we refer to as "Labor Of Love"
