Description of 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport

Just in time for Christmas! Up for sale is my 1967 Chevrolet Camaro Rally Sport Convertible. This is a 327ci-275HP RPO L30 engine paired with a standard three-speed fully synchronized Saginaw transmission. Both. engine and transmission are stock original. Car has 107. 00 original miles and is 100% correct with mostly GM parts and a few reproduction parts/accessories. I have put in about 7. 00 miles since I purchased it in 2011. Car was manufactured in November 1966 and its first owner sold it in 1969. Second owner had it for 42 years until I purchased it almost four years ago. making me the third owner of this Camaro. Car paint color is Mountain Green (HH code with about 3. 5% of total production 67 Camaros painted in this nice/rare color) with original deluxe black interior which by the way still has the unique interior smell so typical of 1960s GM upholstery. This is a survivor car with almost all of its components original GM (except for a replacement starter –the original one goes in with the sale of the car and a modern radio. This Camaro comes with a reproduction battery and also a reproduction radio (AM/FM/ipod-iphone accessible) which looks 100% original (see pictures). Original mats. battery cables and terminals and hoses show the originality of the car. According to the former owner. this Camaro had a repaint job done in the mid-eighties. Paint looks very nice considering its age. If you want to bring this car to a show car condition. you would have to re-spray the car again. I like it how it looks now… This car is meant to be driven and that is precisely what I have done during the past four years. It shows a nice patina and originality all the way. Car has no rust. Early in its life. it was given an anti-rust treatment in the underground. inner door panels. hood and trunk areas. and engine bay. The material looks like a petroleum based coat and has been effective in keeping rust away for 48 years! Car is sold “AS IS”. Other than a couple of items that need attention. there are no major problems that I am aware of with this Camaro. Items that need to be addressed: Small oil leak. probably from the engine carter gasket. You will notice the leak when you park the car for a few days. The rear plastic window is worn out and although you can still see-thru. it may be worth to replace it. Driver’s seat has a small rip that needs attention. I have not come to terms to replace the original seat vinyl cover (see pictures). Everything else works as it should (i. e. speedometer. fuel level gauge. turn signal lights. headlamp doors. radio. heather. window cranks. seatbelts. etc. ). Car has manual top. manual brakes and is not power steering assisted. Car does not overheat and run smooth. I have taken my Camaro on long trips and it performs fantastic on the highway with a cruise speed of 65MPH. It is truly a fun car to drive with a pleasant smooth ride sensation not bad at all for a 1960s car. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>Overall a nice 67 Camaro in very original condition<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< If you are in the market for an all original super nice 1967 Camaro. look no further. The pictures don’t show the air cleaner but I have it. It was re-sprayed in acrylic black and has the Delco sticker (reproduction) on it.
