But. as with every newborn. there tends to be some teething pains. The '68 was no exception. but by the time the '69 was introduced. all teeth were firmly in place! Although. the '68 & '69 were almost identical at first glance. there were some significant changes such as. the re-appearance of the "Stingray" script (now one word) on the front fenders. This was also the first year for the anti-theft ignition interlock and it was also the only year for the optional side exhaust system. There were many engine choices and drivetrain configurations offered in '69 to the tune of 2 small blocks and 5 big blocks if you include the legendary ZL1 of which only 2 are believed to have been built. Here's a chance to get into a pretty rare Corvette at a reasonable price. This is a very original example that you can either chose to partially restore. fully restore or just enjoy it as it is! It's a local car with a matching #'s engine that's documented with the Tank Sticker. It was in the hands of the previous owner since '88. The interior is all original. as well as a large portion of the paint. We've just completed a service on the car and it really runs and drives great!
