1971 chevy c10 short bed 468 bbc turbo 400 frame off all new faux patina

Up for sale is this frame off, ighly detailed 1971 c10 short bed pick up. It has just a couple miles after going through a complete and extensive restoration. The truck has all new parts/restored parts from top to bottom and is ready to show or cruise.

The body of the truck was sanded to bare metal along with the frame and all suspension and steering components. The frame, uspension, teering components and engine bay were painted john deere blitz black, hich is a very durable satin black paint. Most body hardware were replaced with stainless. The body was very straight to start with and had no rust. It was primed, ealed and completely painted in 507 light blue with a white top. Then it was wet sanded down to the sealer in spots to look weathered and give it a killer patina finish. Finally the whole truck was cleared with a satin clear coat. Inside the bed and underneath of the truck are coated in a thick durable spray in bedliner.

The front and back glass are new. All of the chrome and stainless trim are new. The truck has all new weatherstripping and rubber bushings.

The interior has new black loop carpet and the bench seat was reupholstered in black vinyl and houndstooth. The door panels were wrapped in the same black vinyl. A new style retro radio along with new speakers were professionally installed. Also new are the steering wheel, ash pad, auge bezel, irrors, nd handles. My intentions were to install a vintage air A/C system in the truck so I left off the heater core setup and installed the vintage air cover in its place. I will possibly work into the deal, urchasing and installing the vintage air system.

My favorite part about this truck is the ground pounding 468 bbc motor. It has forged pistons. On top sits a rebuilt holley carb and edelbrock rpm air gap intake. Spark comes from an MSD distributor. The front of the motor is equipped with a serpentine belt setup with A/C bracket. To keep things cool I went with a large griffin aluminum radiator with electric fan. It has an all new exhaust system that includes ceramic coated long tube headers, inch tubing and borla stainless race mufflers. Needless to say, t sounds amazing. The transmission is a turbo 400 with stall converter, nd the rear end is a 12-bolt with new richmond 4.10 gears. It has power steering and power brakes with discs up front and drums on the rear. The truck has brand new 18 inch polished american racing torq thrust IIs with new mickey thompson tires. The suspension is all new from cpp. It is lowered 4.5 inches in the front and 6 inches in the rear. The new fuel tank was relocated to the rear underneath the bed. All fuel and brake lines are brand new as well.
