Description of 1970 Chevrolet Blazer |
My 1970 Chevrolet Blazer (2nd year produced - 11. 27) has been completely restored and is in excellent condition. There are not many '69/'70 Blazers for sale - due to relatively low production numbers. You will find more 71/72 Blazers for sale. 72 being the last of the First Generation Blazers. The majority of the work was completed prior to my ownership - so I may or may not be able to answer specific restoration questions. According to the dealer I purchased the Blazer from. it was originally an AZ truck. I purchased the truck from Las Vegas. I DO NOT have a hard top. truck only comes with a retractable and/or removable Softopper soft top which is in excellent condition. You can leave the top on and roll up the side and back windows similar to a Jeep Wrangler. SPECS:DRIVETRAIN: 350 Small Block. Turbo 350 Automatic. 4 Wheel Drive - NP205 Transfer Case. 4:11 front/rear with locking hubs. Serpentine Pulleys. Dual Electric Fans. Vintage Air A/C. INTERIOR: Completely Restored to factory original - with all New Dash Pad. Seat Covers. Door Panels. Carpet. Seat Belts. nbsp; Custom Roll Bar - painted with Base Coat/Clear Coat; Original Steering Wheel. New Gauges with Tach. Oil Pressure. Temp. and Amp. Complete New Wiring HarnessSUSPENSION/BRAKES: All new with 6" Suspension Lift. Dual Shocks at both front corners; Front Disc/Rear Drum BrakesEXHAUST: Headers with Flowmaster Dual Exhaust TIRES: New BFG Mud-Terrain T/A - 35/12. 5/15 The Blazer looks fantastic outside. inside and underside. The truck runs great and turns heads everywhere you go (warning. you will painfully get asked often if it is a Bronco). I own multiple nicely restored classic muscle cars and this Blazer easily is the biggest head turner - you just don't see many. especially in this condition. This Blazer is a Beast - standing almost 7' tall (it barely fits in my 7' tall garage door). I purchased the truck from a dealer in Las Vegas (hence the plate BLKJKD) in June 2014 and drove the truck all Summer. After purchasing the truck. I ordered a Tom Woods custom double cardan drive shaft to compensate for the 6" lift drive shaft angle which was causing U-joint issues. Since installing the custom drive shaft. I drove over 1. 00 miles without issue. Frame looks like new. All body mounts and bushings have been replaced with Polyurethane. The truck is as nice underneath as it is on top. including inner fenders. Everything works as it should. including all gauges and lights. Notice in the close up picture of the front. the Headlights also have blinkers/parking lamps in the bottom of the lights. The truck goes down the road nice and tight considering the lift. The Vintage Air works excellent with real velocity. The paint is very nice. but not perfect. there is a spot on the hood on the passenger side near the cowl that is scratched and other small spots here and there. You can tell by the pictures the truck looks awesome - you need to be on top of it to see any issues. Obviously. the restorer chose to remove all emblems which gives it a unique look. The "CHEVROLET" on the '69 & '70 only grills is only a decal and could be removed in seconds if you wanted to. I added them to stop from being asked if it was a Bronco. I am selling the Blazer to make room in my collection for another recently purchased muscle car. a '70 Camaro Z28. After driving the Blazer this summer. although I had a blast with it. I have decided I have more fun with my muscle cars. I am not in any hurry to sell this truck - I have all winter to make room for the Z28. If you have any questions. please send me a message through eBay. I have a Clear MA Title in hand. GaryOn Dec-15-14 at 04:45:24 PST. seller added the following information: VIN: KE180S126432 |
