Description of 1994 Chevrolet Camaro |
This Vortech supercharged car ran 9.56 @ 143 in the 1/4 mile with only a 50hp shot (9.84 without nitrous) and there's much more potential left!! The suspension works great as the car cut a 1.35 60' on an average track and is begging for more power. With the 83lb/hr injectors you should have no problem upping the nitrous to 125-150hp which should net LOW 9 second 1/4 mile times at well over 145mph. This car can be driven on the street and is actually a great sleeper. It appears like a stock Camaro with slicks bolted on and it's not extremely loud. The Spintech mufflers were specifically selected and purchased to keep the sound relatively low without limiting any performance. Here are the highlights of the vehicle: Performance: 661rwhp @ 15psi 696rwhp @ 15psi + 50hp NOS Best 1/4 ET Boost Only: 9.84 Best 1/4 MPH Boost Only: 139.6 Best 1/4 ET w/NOS: 9.57 Best 1/4 MPH w/NOS: 142.7 Best 60': 1.35 Engine: Nu-Tek Motorsports 396ci LT1 (4.030" bore, .875" stroke) JE custom forged 9.1:1 blower pistons (33cc dish) Oliver 5.85" billet 4340 rods Callies 4340 stroker crank Callies 4-bolt splayed billet main caps Canfield 195cc LT1 heads w/57cc chambers (284/220 cfm at 28" water) Ferrea 2.055/1.60 high-temp forced induction valves Comp Cams hydraulic roller 230/242 @ 0.050", .571"/0.587" lift, 14 degree LS Comp Cams Pro Magnum adjustable rockers AFR Hydra-Rev kit Holley 58mm throttle body Factory LT1 block and intake (ported) Meziere electric water pump Induction: Vortech T-Trim supercharger 3.125" blower pulley, .0" crank pulley Spearco custom 21"x10.5"x3.5" air-to-air intercooler Custom intake tubing Vortech Mondo bypass valve NOS dry nitrous system (50-175hp) Exhaust: Hooker 1 3/4" long tube headers Spintech 3" Super Stock race mufflers Fuel: F.A.S.T (formerly Speedpro) engine management EFI system with wideband o2 Weldon 2015 pump Weldon Dial-a-Flow voltage regulator Weldon 2040 fuel pressure regulator Delphi 83 lb/hr injectors Aeromotive -12 100 micron pre-filter K&N -10 10 micron post-filter Ignition: MSD 6BTM MSD Blaster coil MSD two-step Taylor cut-to-fit wires 95+ Optispark conversion Suspension: Hal QA1 12-way adjustable shocks on all corners Hal front drag springs Wolfe Racecraft rear anti-sway bar Spohn adjustable HD torque arm Spohn double adjustable solid lower control arms and relocators LG Motorsports G2 Poly Panhard Rod Mac subframe connectors Wolfe Racecraft 6-pt roll-bar Drivetrain: Trans-King TH400, everse manual valve body, ransbrake, W Ultra Bell Trans-King 9" 4000 rpm stall SFI flexplate Turbo Action Cheetah Shifter Strange 12-bolt 3.73 gears, 3 spline axles, pool Inland Empire 3.25" aluminum driveshaft Interior: Autometer fuel pressure, oost, gt, ntake temp, rans temp, ir/fuel ratio pic1 MSD shift light Corbeau Clubman seats Simpson 5 point cam lock harnesses Eclipse Head Unit, ockford 400.4 amp, B Quart Front speakers, L Audio Stealth Box w/10W6. That does not count the cost of the car, or the hundreds of hours of installation/configuration labor. Just to list a few... these are some prices that were paid, OT what I'm charging. 396ci Stroker Long Block - $11,000 Blower, ntercooler, itrous - $5,000 TH400 Conversion - $3,000 FAST ECU - $2,000 Fuel System - $2,500 Suspension - $3,000 Strange 12-Bolt - $2,500 Stereo - $2,500 Cage and Safety - $2,000 Gauges - $1,000 Wheels/Tires - $2,000 Ignition - $500 That's $37,000 and there are tons of "miscellaneous" items not listed (don't forget the car itself!) This car is completely ready to drive/race with Performance and Reliability having been the main goals for this car. The interior is in great shape. The paint is original/average shape with a few cracks on the front bumper and one place where the paint cracked on the driver's fender. The car looks great from 10 feet away, ut it is definitely not a show car since it has 20 year old paint. My original intent was to get it repainted, owever I never got around to it. Mechanically the car is 100% complete so now would be a great time to add a fresh paint job. No trades please, nd serious buyers only as this car is the real deal!
