Bidding is open for purchasing a one-owner 1985 Monte Carlo SS. I am the original owner and have the original window sticker as well as owner's manual. To describe the history of my car lets begin with its purchase in 1985in Charleston, C. This car has always been garaged and has always been a "Southern" car having never been in snow. The body is solid as the day it was assembledwith no rust. The paint is 20 years old and still shines like new. The interior is in what I consider very good condition for a 30 year old car. The entire front suspension was replaced and has poly bushings which assists in the car driving smooth and steady. This car was my daily driver until 2002 when I "retired" it. In 2010 the tired, actory installed 305 power plant was removedand a turn key ZZ4 350 crate engine was installed. The ZZ4 is known to most carenthusiasts as one of the most popular muscle car replacement engines. It comes with all the bells and whistles a performance oriented person could want for a street driven car. Included are aluminum angle plug heads, orged crankshaft, ot hydraulic roller camshaft, luminum intake manifoldand a performance Holley carburetor. To add a bit more performance I installed Hooker headers with an X box system with true duals leading to Flowmaster mufflers exiting 2 1/2" tailpipes. The rear axle is the original limited slip with 3:73 gears and the original 4 speed automatic overdrive transmission which was also rebuilt. A new fuel tank was alsoinstalled. The wheels are all original with Goodyear Eagles rolling on the road since new. The original spare tire has never been on the road. My car has always been pampered, ever smoked in (the ash trash is for change, orrect!) and adult driven. I am including my phone number should you have further questions (904-910-1213). This car comes with no warranty and the purchaser is responsible for transporting the car back to their location and assumesall costs involved. The winning bidder is expected to deposit a non-refundable Pay Pal deposit of $500 within 48 hours. Final payment is due within five days of the end of the auction.Final payment may be bank wire draft or certified check. Cash is always accepted, owever it will be verified and counted at my bank. The title will not be released until all fundshave cleared. The car is also listed for sale in my area and I reserve the right to end this auction should my sales price be reached. Thank you for your interest and good luck!
