Up for auction is what I believe to be the finest 1985 Chevy Silverado in America. I have never seen another Chevy pickup1982-1987 body style anywhere on the internet that is as clean, ew, nd well running as this one. This truck is truly amazing. It was originally a GMC but I had it trimmed out as a Chevy Silverado in the restoration process. The difference is merely 4 outside Chevy decals, hood ornament and steering wheel cover. This truck truly has character and there isn't anything like it on the road. A true head turner, nbsp;You will get thumbs up and "nice truck" comments on every single outing. I had this truck professionally restored by Swift Brothers Classic Trucks out of Mt. Airy, C in 2013. This truck was rebuilt to be driven and it is as dependable as you could possibly imagine. The odometer reads 9,311 but it was restored with a reading of 5,500 (I'm sure the original motor must have had 105,500 miles on it) so the brand new Holly carbureted GM 350 actually has about 3,800 miles on it. Every single thing you can think of has either been restored or replaced on this truck. The body lines are straight as an arrow and the door jams and tailgate are super tight. It has never been in the mud and has been garage kept since it was restored. It still maintains that old familiar Chevy pickup smell on the inside too! A/C is brand new and blows ice cold. This truck never over heats. It has a a beautiful and classy rumble due to the Flowmaster true dual exhaust. The only thing that is not functioning properly is the cruise control. It has truly been cared for. I am listing below everything that has been replaced/restored but please feel free to email me with questions. Having said that, am not a gear head, ence the reason I left the restoration to the professionals. The GM 350 crate motor has a 100,000 mile warranty but other than that, here are no other warranties writen or implied. The truck is being sold as is.
