Description of 1959 Chevrolet Other Pickups |
|
This Attitude Packed Short Wide Apache has all the bite to match the bark without giving up creature comforts like Air Conditioning and Power Windows. This build is 85% or better complete with only the final stretch left to be completed. With over 35k in receipts, his truck was designed to be a daily driver with a dark side ready to shred the streets. The objective was simple, o create a clean and comfortable head turner for daily driven use that made tons of power on demand with all the reliability you could ask for. Unfortunately with many projects underway and shrinking allocated funds for this one, his beautiful beast has come to a halt. As you read the specs below, ou will see that only quality parts and components have been used from the beginning with the end goal in mind. To start off from the beginning, he truck was sandblasted prior to paint and from there it received a cyber gray metallic paint job inside and out (late model GM color) with a flattening agent added. As the pictures below will show, e were going for the spot gloss look. That meaning, relatively satin yet still metallic base paint job being complimented by high gloss black accent pieces such as grille, umper and eventually the Signature Fleetside Spears. *Worth noting that if a high gloss paint finish were desired, t would simply just need a clearcoat spayed over. The exterior Door Handles, atches, nd strikers are all powder coated gloss black as well as the front hood emblem. The inner cab has been covered in Fatmat sound deadener for added comfort and sound/heat control. *INQUIRE ABOUT FINISHING THE BUILD TO SUIT YOUR PERSONAL TASTE* Now for the Heart & Soul of the Beast: INTERIOR: Brand New Glass all the way around Dakota Digital Gauges Vintage Air Freshly Wrapped Stock Bench Seat in Red Ox Blood w/ Stock door panels to match as well as the sun visors Brand New Tilt Steering Column with New 1959 Chevy truck Steering Wheel Stock Style New Custom Audio Sound Blue Tooth Stereo w/ Kick Panel Speakers One Piece Power Windows All new Seals, eather Stripping, indow Felts. and anti rattles New door handles and dash knobs New Wiring Harness DRIVETRAIN: *(This was built to run naturally aspirated with or without twin turbos) 2004 LQ4 6.0 with 80k on the motor (now estimated 400-420hp & 400-420ftlbs) Stock bottom end with 317 Heads Custom Ground Herbert Cam (offering a nice "rumpidy" sound at idle) LS9 Head Gaskets ARP Head Bolts LS7 Lifters Manley Cromoly Push Rods Lunati Valve Springs LS2 Timing Chain New Factory Oil Pump Edelbrock ProFlo XT Intake Edelbrock ProFlo XT 90mm Throttle Body Siemens Deka EV1 80lb Injectors Stock 4l80E Transmission TURBOS: 2X On 3 Performance 70mm Float Bearing, 8AR T4 (capable of over 1,000hp) 2X Tial 38mm Wastegates 1 55mm Tial Blow Off Valve FUEL SYSTEM: (Capable of 1,500hp) Holley Dominator Inline Fuel Pump12-1400 150gph Aeromotive Billet Fuel Pressure Regulator Holley HP Billet inline fuel filters REAREND: Custom 9" Early Bronco Narrowed Custom Moser 33 Spline Axles 3:42 gears Posi New seals & Bearings Disc Brakes CHASSIS:Nova Front Clip with power steering and disc brakes Back Halfed rear with Parallel 4Link and Coil Overs WHEELS & TIRES: Fronts are Powder Coated 15''x7'' Chevy Rally wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR 26''x8'' R15 Rears are Powder Coated 15''x12'' ChevyRally wrapped in Mickey Thompson Sportsman SR 29''x15'' R15 |
