1968 Camaro SS RS Pro-Touring Convertible

This auction is for a 68 Pro-Touring Camaro SS RS Convertible. Nothing has been spared in the build of this car. It is ready for a cruise night or a trip across the country.

The engine is 2002 LS-1 from a Trans am that has been completely gone through and updated. The transmission is the 4 speed automatic from the same 02 Trans am and it has also been gone through completely. The rear is now a 9" with TCI 4 link systemand disc brakes. The front subframe is also from TCI. A complete Willwood brake system is used. The tank is a custom piece from Rock Valley with internal pump.

The body is totally redone. The firewall has been smoothed as well as reworking the inner fender wells. Paint is PPG base/clear and it has a mirror finish. The top is a custom made cloth from Al Knoch and is power operated. All trim on the car is new as well as all weatherstrip and glass. The new windshield wiper system is from Raingear. The Rally Sport front is a new electric system from Ecklers.

The interior is all new with seats recovered at Al Knoch,gauges from Classic Instruments, n Ididit tilt steering columnand aunique, abricated console housing a Kenwood stereo and custom shifter. Vintage Air has also been added to the car as well.
