1983 Chevy S10 with 350 V8, 00R4 transmission. I have owned this truck for 15 years. It is in amazing shape and has been repainted a beautiful deep black and been color sanded and buffed for a mirror finish. All door gaps are spot on and fenders and hood also are aligned perfectly. I spared no expense on the paint job and body work. The bumpers are GM bumpers and in great condition. The rear bumper is from a Blazer and fits nice and tight to the body. The mirrors are also from a Blazer. The inside of the bed has been covered in roll in bed liner. In the engine compartment I had the inner fenders powder coated so that they will not chip from rocks when driving. All 4 rims are 17X8 American Racing Torq Thrust II and the tires are Nitto. The suspension is lowered with drop control arms and springs up front and in the rear lowered leaf springs with 2 inch blocks. The engine is a Chevy 350 (4 bolt mains)(mileage unknown on engine and transmission) with Hooker headers, delbrock intake manifold and Edelbrock 1406 carburetor, nd HEI distributor. The transmission is a 700R4 and is shifted with a Lokar floor shifter. The mileage is unknown but runs and drives very nice. The interior is all new with cut down headrest on the front seats and recovered, new headliner, new carpet, nd all door panels are in excellent condition. Also the rear jump seats are in perfect condition. The stereo is a stock head unit hooked up to (4) 4X6 Sony speakers in the stock locations. The truck has a few problems and I will list them here. 1. The reverse lights are not hooked up to the Lokar floor shifter. 2. Crack in the dash. 3. Speedometer is off at times. I have moved the needle to get it closer but it still has some error to the actual speed. 4. Leaks some oil from the engine and the trans but if I drive the truck regularly this seems to stop or slow down the leaks. 5. Stock stereo head unit only the tape player works no radio. I made a short video on youtube to show the truck running and driving and a quick walk around but I can not post it here on ebay but if you search youtube for 1983 Chevy S10 Walk Around it will show up. This truck means a lot to me and has been my pride and joy for many years but it sits more than it gets driven. I welcome you to come look at the truck to inspect for yourself and take a test drive with me before bidding. I require a immediate deposit of $500 non refundable at the end of auction and cash in person or bank to bank wire transfer to complete the sale. Any questions at all please message me.
