Description of 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS 396 |
1969 Camaro SS396 Convertible - This is a pretty Rare car, rue SS 396/350 hp, spd convertible with Rare paint and trim combination, over white, aint code 50 A with White Convertible Top and Red Standard interior, rim code 718. Does have a 396 that was freshen up several years ago. Will need wiring and odds and ends put back on to make it run, t ran great before car was taken apart for restoration. Does not have it's original motor anymore. The Camaro does have it's original Muncie 4 spd with the partial vin number that matches the vin on the car. It seems to have it's original 12 bolt posi with 3.07 gears and front Power disc Brakes. The body seems to be in pretty good shape, good part of the Camaro was soda blasted. The body looks to be pretty straight. The whole front clip is very straight and solid, long with the firewall and the front inner wheel wells, till has it's original big block heater core. Both left and right doors seem to be in good shape and the window glass are in the doors. Left and right rear quarters are solid and straight, ou can see what they look like in the posted pictures, here still raw from the Soda Blasting. Both left and right rear inner wheel well tubs have some rust and patches. The trunk looks pretty good but does have some small rust holes towards the rear part of the trunk on the passenger side by the rear tail panel. The floors look pretty good and way back in the day they did do some patch floor work and it was a ok job, he floors are still raw from the soda blasting, ou can see all this in the detailed posted pictures. The front window frame looks to be in good shape, own low were the dash is there is some rust holes, t's were the front windshield sets in. The convertible frame is in good shape. Like I said before a good part of the camaro was soda blasted, o when that is done it shows all imperfections. In some places there are some small rust holes and some lite bondo, lso some patch work way back in the day, ver all easy fix to make right. The interior is factory Red, rim code 718 and needs a complete interior kit. I have the brand new Red interior kit that includes, ew red dash in box, ew front and rear red door panels in boxes, ew red carpet in box, ew complete front and rear seat covers along with weather stripping and more, lso new white convertible top with rear optional glass. The camaro comes with lots of original parts and some new parts, ew gas tank with sending unit, ew front bumper, ome new stainless and original stainless, ome new rubber moldings, ome new emblems and original emblems, riginal front and rear Cocktail Shakers and much more, ost every thing is there to complete the camaro, here might be some little things missing. This is a very rare Big Block Camaro X66 Real Deal SS 396/350 hp, spd Convertible with the rare paint and trim combination, over white with white top and Red interior.
