Description of 1953 Chevrolet Bel Air/150/210

1953 Chevrolet Bel Air 4-door Sedan. 57,000 original mile car that was transformed in 2001. This car has kept its original classic appearance but performs to much higher standards with the addition of a SBC350 V8, ower Steering, ower Disc Brakes, ack/Pinion front end, amaro rear-end, amp; TH350 automatic Transmission. Dual exhaust is less than two years old and sounds great. This car runs and drives nice and I used it to commute 65miles roundtrip daily for 3 months this year and have had zero issues with it. Routine maintenance has always been completed and was recently done 9-10-15 which included an oil/filter change and I also had the transmission serviced at the same time. Lights, ipers, eater, amp; Radio all work as they should and I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. The interior is in nice shape along with the exterior. Keep in mind it has been enjoyed and driven so there are some minor imperfections/chips in various places but NOT RUSTED, ts a solid car. The passenger side rear was touched up at some point before my ownership and could look better with the right touch up paint but it never concerned us. Starts right up first turn of the key every time, or the first minute upon warm up the brakes are touchy but are perfect after that and have had no problems with them. The brakes were replaced/gone through in 2011 and have plenty of life left along with the BF Goodrich radial tires. All the chrome/trim is in nice shape as well.
If you are looking for a dependable hot rod that has still kept the traditional look/characteristics & that you can jump in and cruise anywhere then this is the one. I have recently had to downsize the collection and this will be one of the last classics I have to part with. This car will get you thumbs up everywhere you drive it. Hopefully someone will have the chance to enjoy it as much as our family has. Still has the original plates with a '53 tab in place and you don't have to purchase tabs yearly because these are acceptable as "Collector Plates" which is stated on the title/registration. I have sold a couple classic cars on here over the years & all my feedback has been positive as I try to point out everything I am aware of on the vehicle and be descriptive & apologize for the lengthy listings.
Serious Buyers Only Please & Only Bid if You Have The Funds to Purchase The Car. Buyer is to arrange and pay for all Shipping/Handling Costs. In the past I have called around & helped the buyer in getting the best quote possible and will do that if it is requested. I require a $1,000 non refundable deposit within 24hrs of auction end through Paypal and the remainder needs paid in full within 3 days of auction end. I have listed the vehicle to the best of my knowledge and it comes in "as-is" condition with no warranty written or implied. I have the right to end the auction early if the car sells before auction has ended. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have. Not a show car (even though we have taken it to many) but a very presentable classic that is ready to cruise. You won't be disappointed. Good luck Bidding.
