After a sale fell through due to no funds, am re-listing. I had several offers at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run and accepted the wrong one I guess, o here it is. This 1968 Camaro Convertible SS/RS is one of the nicest you will find. This 68 convertible had a complete restoration done approximately 5 years ago. The body was placed on a rotisserie and the work began. The decision was made to go with the classic 396 350 horse big block. A period correct one was sourced and rebuilt back to factory specs. It was then decided to go with the classic Muncie 4 speed keeping with the period correct theme Knowing that the car would be driven the decision was made to go with 4 wheel disc giving this 68 2008 stopping power. With the driveline in place it was time to decide what color to paint it. The classic matador red was chosen with the white RS striping adding to the authentic look. Finished off by using the hideaway headlight grill that is completely functionally the exterior was completed with a great attention to detail. The Black convertible top finishes it off nicely and even though it's not powered putting it down is very simple and can be accomplished probably quicker than its powered counterpart. The interior was completed with period correct material as well. The black and grey hounds tooth interior looks like it came right out of 1968. With the center console housing the Hurst 4 speed shifter. I have a licenced appraisal that comes with the car for 65k. This car was bought/sold at Mecum Indy 3 years ago for 54K. This is a beautiful car. Options include, anual Convertible Top, ower Steering, ower Brakes, eat Belts, loth Interior, lat disc brake factory Hub Caps and Camaro raised ones, aised White Letters, nd Radial Tires.
