Description of 1977 Chevrolet Camaro |
I am relisting this car with a lower reserve. This was my father's car, e purchased used in 1993 from his neighbour andbecame the second owner. He loved touring around in it and was extremely proud of his ride and took excellent care of it. My mother even enjoyed her time in it with him... I think. The last time he drove it was in 2005. He passed away a few years ago and his car was left. Unfortunately, ts just not my style and I have no room for it due to my classic truck passion. To each their own. So now, eluctantly, have to let it go. The car is in good shape overall. I got to work on it this past winter and did a refresh of the interior. New headliner, arpet and parcel trayand an overall rejuvenation of the inside. I did not change the front seat cover so it has some cracks in the vinyl. I had a professional detailer come to my house and make the paint look absolutely fantastic for its age. The black looks to be original paint, ut I think the burgundy was redone. I put on a new original style scoop under the front bumper, new emblems on the door handles, ood and steering wheel. I put on new old stock trim rings, nd newtires all around. Everything mechanical works as it should. Theoriginal 305 V8 runs welland the original automatic transmission shifts well. Speedo and all gauges work. I was recently told that a common problem with these cars is that the floors rust on them. However, hen I had the carpet out I was able to see that the floors are in perfect shape. As mentioned in the other part of the ad, here are a couple rust holes in the bottom ofeach of the rear quarter panels. The reserve is set at a fair price. I would like to see it go to a good home, omeone that can appreciate it the way my father did. It is for sale locally so I reserve the right to end this ad at any time. $500 depositdueimmediately after winning bid. Remainder due within48 hours. I am happy to help/assist with shipping but you need to arrange it. The car can stay here for 14 days after auction close. I have described the car honestly and to the best of my knowledge. The tires are Cooper Cobras 225 70 R14 also put on this winter. The car was not on the road from 2005 until this spring and only about 140 miles on it since then. The car is stored in a garage at all times, nd always was even back to the previous owner. It is currently plated and insured and on the road, ust not often. The car has never been winter driven since new, hich probably explains the perfect floors. |
